Frauds. I went in to see about a procedure to open up my nasal passages. I specifically asked "We aren't doing anything today, right?" Just an office visit. They told me, "No, no this is just to see if you are a candidate for the procedure." I fully expected to pay for an office visit. I received a bill for $637 before insurance (BCBS PPO). $270 for office visit and $367 for procedure. After insurance I still owe over $530. I am not sure in what universe a bill for $637 isn't "anything." I called into the billing department and she asked if they had done anything that day. I explained that they put a tube up my nose for about 30 seconds. That was it. She was kind but explained that since I had "Signed all the paperwork, I had to pay." I called Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She told me that Dr. McClurg's office/Ascentist Physicians Group, LLC billed them for OUTPATIENT SURGERY!! Outpatient surgery sure sounds like something to me! Completely sketchy, wouldn't set foot in the office again. I don't know how these people sleep at night. I have filed a grievance with BCBS because my gut is I'm not the first person this has happened to.

I had struggled with severe sinus infections, constant congestion, and all around misery when it came to my sinuses for years. I didn’t know I had a severe problem until a trip on an airplane sent me to Dr. McClurg. He was recommended to me by a friend and I am so grateful I was able to see him. Immediately, he was able to assess the problems and had the answers I had been searching for for years. I ended up having a sinuplasty and a septoplasty. After my procedure and healing process, my life has seriously turned around for the better. Him and his staff were always great at communicating, checking in on me, very clear with directions and the healing process, and were always available for questions/ concerns. I breathe and feel so much better and no longer live in constant, backed up, painful sinuses and congestion. Not only is he a great doctor, but him and his staff are so kind and helpful. 100% recommend Dr. McClurg!

I had 6 or 7 sinus procedures done prior to seeing Dr. McClurg. I had been struggling with ongoing chronic sinus infections and infections from the surgeries themselves due to autoimmune health issues. Once I had my surgery done with Dr. McClurg, I’ve been clear of sinus infections for a year. He has really helped with continuing care so that any problems that may arise are quickly dealt with. I would highly recommend him to anyone with chronic problems.

Dr. McClurg has been very helpful with my nose issue. He answered any questions that I was concerned about pre-procedure. I’m very pleased with him as my ENT. Definitely would recommend him.

Dr McClurg performed a successful sinus surgery. I haven’t felt this good in years. The entire process from evaluation to surgery to after care has been simple and honestly enjoyable. The staff are friendly, courteous and professional. If I had to do it over again, I know who to call.

Dr McClurg is amazing. I was having severe sinus headaches and after seeing him, we created a plan. I had surgery. He and his nurse, Maggie answered all my questions and made me feel rushed during office visits.

I have had sinus polyps for years. Dr. McClurg has been amazing. Before, Dr. McClurg, I had 3 surgeries that didn’t work. Dr McClurg did one surgery and other treatment and he has kept my polyps at bay. I highly recommend him!
