John and his staff are very knowledgeable, respectful and personable, and while any physical therapy is hard work, the time I spent at Athletico was well worth it. John not only addressed my problem, he also recognized a deeper issue and tailored exercises for that as well. I’d go back to him in a heartbeat.

When my doctor prescribed PT after my knee surgery, I knew it was going to take a lot of work to treat my knee and to increase my ability to bend my leg. I’ve had two knee replacements on the same knee and after each surgery my knee stiffened up and I could only bend my knee about 30 degrees. After my last surgery, I was lucky to find a new PT facility which not only was close to home, but had a great staff. My physical therapist John was excellent! He really understood what I had been dealing with and had lots of ideas, exercises and treatment methods to help me start to improve. I knew I had come to the right place to start to heal. I spent several months with John and staff and I began to improve the bend in my knee and almost reached 100 degrees, which for me was a huge improvement! I highly recommend Athletico Physical Therapy in Mission to anyone trying to recover from pain or physical injuries. The whole staff was upbeat, respectful and knowledgeable and made my time spent there enjoyable as well as successful. I have been to several physical therapy studios in the past, but I was always glad when the therapy was over. It was a totally opposite experience working with John and his staff and I actually felt a bit down when my therapy was completed. I feel like I made new friends!

Received life-long methods, exercises, and tips. John and everyone was fantastic to work with and they truly look out for your long term health!

Lydia and the whole team at Athletico in Mission KS are great! I have done physical therapy at several different spots over the years and they definitely are one of the good ones. Happy to be feeling good again and not experiencing constant pain and stiffness in my back. I finished a 6 week course of treatment and graduated today and feel like they gave me a good plan to stay on the right track going forward.

I had major damage done to my shoulder. After multiple surgeries, I rehabilitated at Athletico for several months. My physical therapist Lydia was amazing. I couldn't have done it without her knowledge and guidance. She was so very positive and helpful throughout our time together. The entire staff were all so nice and accommodating. Scheduling was easy and flexible. If you need help recovering from injury, surgery or chronic issues, I highly recommend Athletico. They are wonderful.

Awesome experience! Went to John at the Johnson Drive location for the last 6 weeks due to a running injury. He listened intentionally, assessed thoughtfully, and provided exercises that gave me confidence both in sessions and at home. Kind people doing awesome work. Highly recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed my therapy with Dr Lydia. Lydia was great and helped me get my shoulder back to where I can exercise, lift weights, and all my daily activities again. She helped me avoid surgery on my shoulder, and it’s feeling good again. Shoutout to Tyler and Kylie too, they were great too. Everyone was always kind and courteous. Feel like I made some new friendships. I’d recommend Lydia to anyone!

Lidia was my physical therapist following 6 weeks on bedrest postpartum. She is the absolute best! Always greets you with a smile and genuinely cares about how you feel overall. She has helped me get stronger over time and is still helping me where I am weak. I can walk, do household duties and take care of my 4 kids with no pain. Kiley at the front desk always greets you with smile.All the assistants (Jared, Trevor, Cameron and Natalie) are kind, personable and helpful. I highly recommend Mission Athletico!

This is my second time working with John, but recently for sciatic problems. I feel so much better! John is thorough and receptive to feedback! The receptionist was top notch and enjoyed the interns as well. Highly recommend!!!

I would highly recommend this facility. Excellent care and PT program. John and the staff were respectful, helpful and the treatment was just what my body needed after a knee injury. I have been to physical therapy in the past but I felt like just a number at those places and not like a person. This staff really cares about their patients.
