We have all had those strange bouts where suddenly everything seems to hurt. Dr. Koontz took the time to listen and ask questions to try to determine what was going on. In addition she did not assume that because I am not a doctor that my opinions and questions were dumb. We all need to be our own best advocate and the best doctors recognize this. Dr. Koontz is among them.

I really appreciated Dr. Koontz sincerity in listening to my description of injury and understanding that even though I was over 50 I still wanted to be active and exercise. She worked with my insurance company to push through my recovery knowing I wanted to get back up and running

I went here for back pain. She said I had a herniated disc. Didnt do any tests until I was unable to walk for 3 months. She was in disbelief that I was in that much pain. Even suggested it was in my head. I have been in pain for 9 months and wont go to any drs in newton just because of her.
