Amazing bedside manner My elderly mom saw him for a colonoscopy. He was incredibly nice and very knowledgeable He has a very down to earth practical Philosophy approach to medicine.
He answered questions and was very easy to talk to. One procedure that I had done I was awake and he talked to me and we joked around. He really knows his stuff.
I was a care giver to a friend who had Melanoma and we saw Dr.Mac off and on for surgeries and wound care for 5 years and he was a great Dr. with a Terrific bedside manor and a great sense of humor and did not rush us through the appointments and was very good at explaining things to us.If I myself needs surgery I will go to him as I Trust him.
This doctor may be a good surgeon but his bedside manner is pitiful and he is very arrogant. Wont come here again.
Dr. McEachern seems nice enough but my test results sat on his desk for a week after the date he had promised to call me. A nurse in his office finally called me after I had called twice I was told each time my results were sitting on his desk that he would call me very soon. She apologised that the doctor hadnt called and said I needed to know that I have cancer. The surgery seemed to go well. Afterward my incision started leaking puss I called his office and they told me to see my PCP. I said it was his incision they said to go to my PCP anyway. I went to her she refused to touch another doctors incision and sent me back to him. His office then claimed they would never do what they did. My scar is also still very red and raised after years and even after being cleaned up by the specialist who performed surgery number two. The scar from the second surgery is hardly noticeable but McEacherns is very visible. A family member has also had a poor experience with him he didnt fix her problem and then told her she only hurt because she wasnt handling the pain right.
very pleased excellent dr. excellent with wound care funnygood sense of humor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
