WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE in the NMC Health Emergency Department. We were in and out in less than an hour, from check-in to discharge. I was thoroughly impressed!My little guy was having breathing problems from croup. Upon entering, they could see I was a worried mom and kindly registered us for services and immediately took us back to a room for him to be evaluated. I didn't have to sit in the waiting room or anything. The nurse was very attentive and kept me calm as she explained the oxygen monitor and listened to his lungs.In a hurry to get him to the hospital, I had forgotten his diaper bag and of course he needed to be changed. Without questioning, the nurse found me the right sized diaper and some wipes so we could get his diaper changed. The staff was so nice and really made me feel like they were caring for both me and my son. Super compassionate, super friendly and just made the whole experience less nerve-racking.Dr. Windham was PHENOMENAL. He was thorough, friendly, personable and really eased my concerns as a parent. He was quick to act and gave my son a mixture of steroid medicine, but still took the time to explain to me that it was a safe and effective, and would be a mixture of steroid and ibuprofen. The whole team made me and my son feel comfortable, acted quickly and really impressed me with the level of service coming out of a smaller emergency department.We know we can trust the team at NMC Health, and are very happy to report that our little guy is doing great today! Some of the people that work here. My last x-ray report is wrong. The doctor making the report doesn’t even know my right foot from my left foot. I even told the x-ray tech that the doctors order was wrong. She wouldn’t even call to get it fixed. I laugh every time I look at my medical records.Why do we allow it to happen? A third party pays for it. My medical dollars are better served elsewhere.I was out there yesterday for a simple 2 minute procedure. After 45 minutes I left with nothing done. At the front door, as I was leaving a NMC staff or volunteer asked me a question about my experience. As I was walking away she made a snide comment to her co-worker about me. Very unprofessional. I don’t care if I ever go there again.

I've had 2 different visits in the last couple of months and have absolutely been given the best care.At the beginning if March I was in the surgery center for sinus surgery and had every single nurse, the anesthesiologist and the doctor treat me like I was the most important human in there. It was my first surgery and I was definitley nervous. They made me feel more relaxed and got me in and out so quickly, I was home around noon that day.The beginning of April I went to the ER and ended up getting a CT scan, all the nurses were extremely patient with my panics and did everything in their power to make me feel as comfortable as I could. I put on a brave face in most of my days, but going to the ER alone without my family and finding out I could have died, was not an easy thing for me. So extra big shout out to Bethany and Andrew in the ED taking the best care of me. I cannot thank you two enough! I ended up staying the night and had many nurses come in and out throughout the visit and each of them were so kind.Not that I want to come back to the hospital but if I do have to, I am glad I have some of the best care around.

Restrictions on number of guests is ridiculous. Sick family member and no one can visit. Ever think the psychological healing is stronger than this plandemic?

Would give this place 0 stars. Had my son there and received unprofessional care from the nurses on staff. I had to ask for one of those birth cards when they're supposed to make one for the baby right after birth. I also did not receive my son's foot prints either. I called and they said that threw them away. Thanks NMC...

Spent a lot of time here during the birth of our child. Without exception, the staff were very professional and accommodating.

Been in this place twice to the E.R. and once in a room for 3 days in the last 2 months and got the best care and service anyone could ask for. THANKS to all the staff that helped me through my problems and made my stay so pleasent.

My daughter had to have an emergency c-section at the Newton medical centre. Her baby was born early in small. We received the utmost wonderful care. The doctors were attentive and compassionate. The nurses were outstanding. When nurse particularly, Jennifer T, was the epitome of what any RN should be. She was kind, carrying, professional, attentive, loving, in extremely helpful informative. She was kind, carrying, professional, attentive, empathetic, friendly... all of that, while providing excellent care. My daughter was also allowed to stay with the baby until she was dismissed.
