List of Olathe - Hoeger House's Reviews
I received the best treatment for both hip replacements at Hoeger House! The therapists were very supportive and helpful and knowledgeable! My recovery was spectacular and I contributed it to the wonderful care I got!
Understaffed, unclean and poor untimely service (answering call light).
I thought the service was wonderful, staff went out of their way be helpful. I would recommend Hoeger House to anyone leaving the hospital and needing rehab care.
HORRENDOUS PATIENT CARE. Ran out of food for dinner fridsy night!. Takes over three hours to answer call lightvfor restroom assistance. Reporting this place to kansass dept of health
If you are passive or have difficulty communicating, BEWARE - don't go to Hell House (HH). My fraile loved one was released from the hospital directly to HH care, he was on blood thinners (extremely delicate skin), had a very low heart rate function, and was diagnosed as confused. He was NOT supposed to leave his bed nor a chair without assistance. The poorly equipped HH bed did not have a BED ALARM nor rails to prevent him from getting out of bed. A bed with rails (to prevent removal from bed since he was deemed confused by staff) was requested and DENIED. Ironically, he fell a day or so later when a negligent staff employee failed to answer their not so friendly call light. He got out of bed without assistance and fell while in the bathroom. Additionally, cleanliness is questionable - I observed a fresh white contour sheet that had stains on it. 2) Therapy started days BEFORE a therapy meeting/plan scheduled with social workers.
My father was just recently in Hoeger House. Please watch every medication they give you and ask lots of questions. ( I would recommend a cheat sheet for the patient of what they can and will take) Medications were ordered for my dad that he did not need and had never been on. They also gave him insulin over 2 hours before he received his food, which made him very sick. The physical therapy is great, but the nursing side is not. If you are on no medications and can speak up for yourself it's probably OK, otherwise I would not recommend.
My wife has been at this facility for over three months now, healing a bad leg fracture. The nursing staff and physical therapists are
I am visiting a close friend here and I’m taken back at the conditions. Next to the sink are pads with feces on them. The floor is covered with crumbs…I do not recommend this facility!!!
I work in healthcare and my father is currently a patient in your care. It is strange that you are so proud of being five stars on the inside of the building. Overall I am not happy with the attitude, the environment, the fact that you are understaffed and blaming the call light/pager system for why his call lights are going unanswered, leaving him unable to do anything but soil himself. Not preserving his dignity. The room feels outdated and dark. The carpet is kind of gross.. The one dresser in his room is missing a drawer and two drawers are clearly broken. It does not feel like a five star rehab as a customer, or a place I'd want to be employed at..
This place is not good at all... Need to hire more people periods

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
