I have been to KCUC north kansas City. during testing prior to my surgery, test results were not shared. called several times left message with DR. nurse. No response back other than they left it on the patient portal. i did not find any information on the portal until after my surgery. I landed in the Emergency room. from there I was referred to KCUC. It took a month to get an appointment. Went to appointment it was determined. I needed further testing and possible surgery. While in the office. I had a urine sample which they mixed up with another persons. Wrong information was entered into my chart. When I confronted them about it they dismissed it as a common mistake and would correct it. When I received the doctors report it still had the wrong information. Any attempts to establish communication with KCUC North Kansas City are difficult. It almost seems they have policies and actions in place to keep from talking with the patient. I recommend to find another urology center. I know it is very difficult I tried. It seems they are almost the only game in town. I have been two two different doctors here. Both have the same issues with communication. I am post surgery and having issues. contacted the office and used portal to convey message. Still no communications other than if it gets worse got to emergency room. Well they are the next step after emergency room. STILL WAITING FOR COMMUNICATION.

While the checkin process had a little hiccup (due to my doctor being in the "annex" room, the overall experience was quick, informed, thorough, and covered by insurance.

Really like KCUC and Dr Flum is great. People here are friendly and accommodating. Might take awhile to get an appointment but that's what happens when their good.

Dr Flum is amazing. I visit his office once a year for the past 5 years and he remembers me and the issues we discussed from the previous year. The only area for improvement for this practice would be scheduling. There is no way to contact this office and talk to a receptionist. A person has to leave a message and receive a call back. That’s fine if a person works in a profession that can take phone calls at any time during the day. But I don’t work in a profession that allows for that and we played phone tag for 2 weeks. I finally had to walk into the office and get my appointment changed.
