I needed to find a new hematologist after moving to the Kansas City area and my primary physician recommended Dr. Tolentino. I found him to be friendly, patient with any questions I had, thorough in his answers and overall just very approachable. I felt like I had a say in my plan of care which is important when you have a condition that requires regular monitoring and periodic testing and treatments.

My doctor no longer practicing. ‘Inherited’ him. Over 40minute wait in exam room. Once entered never acknowledged his tardiness. Not familiar with any of my medical concerns! Would have helped tremendously to just take another 5 minutes to familiarize himself with my case. Spent about 8 minutes with him—I felt neglected and taken for granted!!

I was referred to Dr. Tolentino because it was suspected that I might have leukemia. I have never met a more caring, calming doctor than Dr. Tolentino. He scheduled a bone marrow biopsy, which came back negative, but he continued to follow my case for the next two years. I would highly recommend him!
