Adventhealth Medical Group Primary Care At South Overland Park's Online Review Report Card

RUN, don't walk away from this office. We started going to this office when it opened and loved the providers. Over time they have all left (guess they knew something!). The current providers are okay, but the office and support staff are the absolute worst I've ever dealt with. Not sure if they take any kind of oath, but there is zero effort made to provide any kind of service or care. Unanswered phone calls, unreturned messages, rude and condescending attitudes, difficulties in getting even basic response or assistance. Not worth dealing with them - wasted too much time with this group and will be moving on.

Dr. Paul Moore at AdventHealth at South Overland Park had been my primary Doctor for 4 years. I had developed high blood pressure and he was treating it with medication. At my annual physical in December, 2021, I showed him my belly button which had discolored a month previous, and mentioned that blood was in my seaman. He didn't seen very concerned about either problem. A year later, it hadn't got worse but never improved either. He then suggested seeing a Dermatologist. It turned out to be stage 3 melanoma by that time. I had surgery and 2 lymph nodes removed and am undergoing Immunotherapy sessions for the next year. If I had seen a dermatologist when I first showed him the belly button, my prognosis would be much better than it is now. How he could miss two major signs of melanoma is beyond me. Now, I wouldn't let him treat my dog!

Recently, I experienced a very significant, sudden hearing loss which needed very time-sensitive treatment by two other doctors, in hope of recovering some of that hearing loss. I went to the office of my primary care physician, Dr. Jennifer Schultz seeking a prescription to facilitate that effort and spoke with the ladies at her front desk, stressing the time-sensitivity of my request. With an unusual display of teamwork, every member of her staff helped to to check and adjust appointment schedules until they were able to give me an immediate opening to meet my need without adversely affecting the schedules of other patient appointments. There is nothing more comforting and refreshing to a patient than knowing that his/her doctor's front office staff is, not only friendly, compassionate and helpful on a routine daily basis, but is willing and able to come through in response to unusual situations.

Dr Lorentz was great! The practice is super clean, spacious and zero wait time. Lab is located in the office which is amazing. I'm So glad I found them!

I've been a patient there for about a year. I always get in with in a day or two. I've been to two of the doctors, both great. Everything is very organized and runs like clockwork. I like that the blood testing place is right there. I use Dr. Greenfield. Highly recommend.
