When I arrived at overland park regional and Dr Hufford assessed me via xrays and whatever other tests, I can't remember fully as I had 10 broken ribs five of which were shattered and three of those punctured my lung and I felt like I was dying as it took me three days to get to hospital. I was very worried about alot then abd this angel of a doctor immediately put me at ease and I felt confidence in her that I was in extremely good hands and that I no longer needed to be worried I just knew immediately I was as lucky as can be to have landed in her hands..she's an.amazing surgeon and so down to earth never talking down to me but rather making me feel comforted. She saved my life there is no doubt and did so like it was just another day at the beach so to speak. For me I put her at the very top of the totem pole of surgeons and anyone lucky enough to have her perform surgery on them will be blessed is really the truth. She has every quality anyone could hope for and I believe she truly is a special human being. Thank you Dr Hufford!

This was my first visit as a new patient. I am always apprehensive about going to any doctor. The desk attendant (Chloe?), she was very nice and friendly. She appears to like her job which says a bunch about the office overall. I noticed this immediately. My visit and introduction to Dr. Hufford was just as pleasant. I felt like I had been a long time patient or knew her personally as she spoke to me like a real person and not just the next patient on the list for the day. This lasted all of the way to the counter where I checked out. My follow up call to set my surgery date/time was just as easy and friendly.

She's the best! She listens to what you have to say and knows the answers immediately and explains what she thinks and what is best for you. Very kind and cares about her patients.

Great communication skills. She explained my condition so that I understood it, something two previous surgeons didn't. Also she was super well versed and knew the answers to even my hardest questions immediately. Stop your search for a surgeon, and make an appointment with Andrea Hufford, MD.
