I think Amundson is a great doctor, Edwina also great. However their major downfall is not getting proper administrative services. Very frustrating, many calls. Hoping things change soon.

Only giving one star because zero doesn't appear to be an option. Probably a great place if you can pay out of pocket, but most of the population of this nation doesn't have that option. Having to do a surgery over an hour and a half away because of Medicare payment restrictions? This isn't a hospital; it's just a place to string out your insurance while they find you somewhere inconvenient to have your procedure done after they have exhausted their allowance from governmental sources. Not a hospital, not if it is clearly FOR profit.

Great place but they don't return your calls once the surgery been done. I've called four times but I m not giving up. Just want to ask if they made a mistake when they billed Medicare $220,000 for my surgery and settled for $177,120 when the did all my friends cash pay for $9950

Horrible aftercare , my husband has been in pain for days , my husbands doctor called and left messages as well as my husband , no call back for days, no help. They just do not care that he is in so much pain and will not call us back or his doctor.. this is the worst place to go for your surgery

I had weight loss surgery they told me that Medicare would pay for it and I would not be out of pocket any money. My insurance paid $177,120 plus office visits. Then the billed me after my surgery. My fiancé paid $9950 cash and got much better service. If you do business get it in writing don’t take there word for anything. Get it in writing which I didn’t. Billing Dept wouldn’t return calls timely.

They have a couple of doctors that will work with you to manage chronic pain problems. They have managerial problems with bending Kansas rules to honor Missouri issued medical marijuana prescriptions so you don't violate your opioid contract and be cut from their program immediately.

They are not paying their bills. Owe $200,000 in marketing bills and refuse to communicate. For someone in the business of caring for people they don't care about their professional reputation.

Blue Valley Surgical, Hospital and Pain Management are all wonderful! I've had cervical and lumbar issues for a long time. Dr Reed is an excellent surgeon! Highly talented and gifted in his field. In February 2018 he done two total disc replacements in my neck. I hadn't realized how much mobility I had lost in my neck until after the surgery. He done a wonderful job! Blue Valley hospital was excellent. The entire staff were competent and wonderful! Dr.Lasalle over at Blue Valley pain management is an awesome doctor and a great individual. Very informative about your diagnosis. They are presently working with my lumbar issues. The only downside to Blue Valley (and it's been an ongoing biggie with me) is the administration. Even the staff comments on it. Otherwise I highly recommend the doctors and staff!

Had my surgery May 16th 2018 had the BEST experience with the Dr. and staff they provided me with the best care from the time I entered facility friendly and attentive I checked in on a Wednesday and left on Friday and have continued with MUCH SUCCESS due to the care and instructions as well as the information they provided when I left then continuing to follow up with me to check on me answering any questions I thought about later. I recommend BVSA to anyone wanting to improve their lives and leading a more productive and healthy life I went from a size 18 down to a 12 pants and a size XXL top down to a size Large sometimes medium top my energy is up I'm off a lot of medication and exercising more enjoying life.. How does a place like this only have one review posted. Makes me think they pay yelp to remove bad reviews. I think I will continue looking for a surgeon.
