Dr. Rooney and her nurse practitioner Amy took care of me during a scary moment in my life. I had to have surgery and was not looking forward to it. In fact, I put off even seeing a doctor for a known issue. One day, my issue could no longer be "swept under the rug," and I went from working to going to the ER getting ready for surgery. Dr. Rooney and her outpatient nurse Tami are a force to be reckoned with. Tami was able to answer my questions, as well as give information to Dr. Rooney. I love that I was always told why there would be any sort of delay (like a surgeon having to do surgeries). When I met with Dr. Rooney for my post op appointment, she maintained eye contact and I truly felt like she gave me all the time I needed to ask my questions. She did a great job explaining everything surgically and able to help me understand my pain better. She didn't seem rushed either. If you want a doctor that listens to you and any concerns you may have, she's your doctor that you want. I would trust her to do surgery on any one of my family members knowing that she will go above and beyond for her patients. I also want to recognize her team members because I think all of them really work well together to take care of patients. As they say, it takes a village.

Dr. Rooney was great. I get incredibly nervous about any type of surgery, and she was able to set me at ease. She answered all of my questions thoroughly, explained the surgery and recovery in detail, and generally made me feel good about the whole process.
