Carole A Guillaume's Online Review Report Card

My visit with Dr. Guillaume was a complete waste of time and money. I spent more time filling out paperwork and getting records sent to her than she spent with me and she never looked at any of it! She didn't look at my sleep study results or anything. She wasn't pleasant to be around either. She acted like she didn't want to be there. She recommended a dental appliance to help with my cpap and referred me to someone. After paying out of pocket for the dental appliance and trying it for over a year I finally went to another sleep doctor who told me that it didn't work because of the type of sleep apnea I have. If Dr. Guillaume would have just looked at the sleep study I had sent to her, she would've seen that the dental appliance wouldn't work and I wouldn't have gone through all that.

Only cares about money. I had a terrible experience here - repeatedly asked for help, never even met Dr. Guillaume but her office continued to bill me at a specialist's rate (allowed by insurance but highly unethical in my opinion) I was never allowed to see this doctor I was paying for, never got promised calls from her, spent over $2000 trying to remedy my sleep disorder and ended up far worse off than when I started. Couldn't return calls to help her patients but had her billing office go after you the second an invoice was sent out. Absolutely zero compassion for her "patients".

Nice facility and office but disorganized and poor service. The receptionist seemed incompentent and not friendly and customer-service oriented. Dr. Guillaume was not compassionate and friendly. She seemed bias. I sought another sleep specialist after a poor experience in her office

Dr. Guillaume has a very vicious and incompetent billing office. Medical West that supplied the new C-Pap demanded up-front payment for the machine. Medical West has not yet submitted that payment to BC/BS. Now Dr. Guillaume is threatening to charge our credit card for her services. They haven't even submitted a bill to the insurance company or sent us a bill yet, but are harassing us on the phone, demanding payment before allowing us the opportunity to have the insurance process work.

Dr. G is one of the best doctors I have seen in in my entire life. She really does understand sleep issues, and is very professional in her bedside manner. She understands that things happen, and keeps things easy to understand, and knows the importance of a good night sleep. Her technician that I had, Michael was a real expert in the field of sleep,and was very personable as well. He taught me more quite a bit about how the brain works while you are asleep than I was aware of. Plus her sleep lab is at her office, and imitates a very realistic posh hotel room. You will not find this kind of doctor/team professional service very often, and I am very glad to have found them.
