Find another physician. He could not understand my symptoms much less offer possible solutions, or a course of action to get to the solutions. This doctor cared zero about my symptoms which were circulatory in nature. His follow up report to my PCP was falsified. He had remarks about my "exam" when in reality he never examined 90% of what he referenced. Please do yourself and your loved ones a favor and stay away from this doctor.
I had a good experience with Dr Barth, in the time allowed I had an EKG and review of my previous treatment! He added a prescription for atrial flutter which had not been given me before. I haven’t had a lot of experience with cardiologists before so was relieved to have a second opinion about my heart.
I question that Dr. Barth should still be practicing medicine. He could not understand my symptoms much less offer possible solutions, or a course of action to get to the solutions. Worst Office Visit in my 48 Years He could not understand (or cared to try) my symptoms much less offer possible solutions, or a course of action to get to the solutions. Dr Barth treated me like an afterthought. He was filling in for a colleague who asked me to come back ASAP and he sat with me for less than a minute. I’ve NEVER experienced such an...I’m sorry.. SHITTY beside manner in my life. As a 24 year old scared about a serious health concern dr Barth showed zero concern for me or my feelings and let me know I was the inconvenience of his day. Thanks Dr Barth! ...
My visit to saint lukes left me incredibly underwhelmed. Dr. Barth made it abundantly clear that he did not want to be bothered with my care as my regular doctor was not in office. He spent less than 2 minutes In the room talking with me after I was called back in for results. He then gave me completely different follow up recommendations than the doctor I had been seeing before with zero explanation. At this point I do not feel that any of the doctors are trustworthy and I wasted my afternoon and my money. If you want to be treated as an afterthought Dr Barth is the one for you!
He may be a great cardiologist but he really needs to take a course or a few courses on bedside manner. He doesn’t look at patients in the eye, he doesn’t remember them,he doesn’t even remember diagnoses he gave them, and won’t answer questions, hardly lets you speak & makes you feel completely unimportant & that you don’t matter at all. All of my specialists Are at St Lukes and after my last visit with Dr.Barth & His and consideration when it comes to canceling specific test that he orders the day before was the last call for me. He may be great for other patients that he’s deafly not a cardiologist for me which is why am finding anyone who is much more human than Dr. Barth.
He is difficult to work with can be quite rude and obnoxious. I had to find another cardiologist when I was experiencing multiple shots of pain and he made comments to me while with out question enjoyed each time I had a shot of bad pain. Never go to him!
I went to Dr Barth concerning a heart issue. I found him to be dismissive and condescending. He did ask a few scripted questions but barely gave time for an answer. I was extremely disappointed in his manner. I would not recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
