I am very pleased with my total hip replacement! Dr. Farrell is a great dr! I would highly recommend this group!

I took my nephew to see this doctor and he wanted him in surgery for a sprained ankle within 3 days. He also wanted payment upfront. Both Saint Luke’s and children’s mercy disagreed and said it was a simple sprain. My nephew was traumatized. I feel sorry for the patients I saw pulling out numerous credit cards trying to pay for his services.

I cannot express sufficiently how competent, Covid-cautious and professional this surgeon, and his entire staff, were from my first appointment, in the spring, through my post-op exam after hip replacement surgery, just yesterday. God bless you all.

Dr. Farrell, Melissa and the entire staff are first class in every aspect. Dr. Farrell is very thorough in all his explanations as well as transparent. He is honest, gives all the facts and shows through actions how much he cares. I thank him and Melissa very much for my health.

I absolutely love this office! The girls that answer the phone always go overboard to help me. They are friendly and professional. I don’t know their names but I have talked to the both numerous times!My surgery with Dr. Farrell went very well. It was a tough surgery. Complete hamstring avulsion. (All three off the bone). He takes plenty of time to talk to me about my post op worries and instructions. Sydney and Melissa are also both very professional and helpful. What a team!

Dr. Farrell is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon! He surgically repaired my sons broken arm that would have been a compound fracture if the bone had been long enough to stick through the skin when my son was 12. He is now almost 21. Dr. Farrell even came in on Saturday before leaving on vacation with his family. I was so impressed, I waited to see Dr. Farrel when I finally had to get my ACL replaced at age 50. While rehab took the better part of a year, I am happy to say my knee does not hurt anymore and I am playing tennis again.Dr. Farrell is extremely knowledgeable and shares the challenges associated with the surgery. He cares for his patients not only from a surgical perspective but from a total health perspective.I cannot not more heartily recommend an orthopedic surgeon in Kansas City and the region.

Would rate a zero if I could, he was in the room for less than five minutes and didn’t even look at my x-rays. The worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor.

I talked with 4 local surgeons(Wichita) and didn’t really feel confident in any of them. Upon researching direct posterior method I found Dr. Farrell. My first visit was amazing! I had a laundry list of questions and he spent time with me and didn’t act annoyed or arrogant. He explained based on MY body, which approach he felt would be best. No one else had ever done that. He’s funny, he gets witty humor, i enjoy visits with him. My appoints both pre-op, the day of surgery, and post op ran like so smoothly. No waiting, everything was explained appropriately and everyone was KIND. I even got a hand written thank you note from the hospital and everyone that took care of me from entry to exit had signed it! I have recommended him to friends all ready. I waited too long to have this done, but when I found him, I knew it was time. I’m 90 days post op today and couldn’t be more grateful for his expertise. Just finish two fitness classes at the gym! 💥🔥💥🔥

Dr. Dan is excellent at patient care as with his support staff. Highly recommended him for your Partial Knee Replacement. ( my procedure) . Give him a call . He will fix your knee.
