Dr. Van Der Berghe is an excellent choice for anyone who may be experiencing chronic shoulder pain or suffering from a shoulder injury. He and his team of health care professionals will listen to you and create a plan of care that will produce pain free results. They did it for me! I highly recommend him, and I do not endorse many.

Dr. Vandenberghe is an amazing surgeon and has the best approach to his patients. I always felt he provided me with the exact information I needed regarding my shoulder surgery and was always asking what other questions I had. I had my left shoulder done several years ago, and when I found out my right shoulder had a torn rotator cuff, I knew I had to return to Dr. Vandenberghe. I now live in Maine and highly recommend Dr. VdB and his staff -- very personal and always willing to answer all of your questions.

Dr. Van den Berghe did an excellent job replacing my shoulder 2 years ago. Recently I was having pain in that arm and feared something was wrong. I got into see him within a week and got quite a few x-rays of my shoulder, arm and neck. Doctor had the pictures printed out for me and assured me that my shoulder replacement looked great. He showed me why he believes the arm and shoulder pain is going from my neck. He gave me 4 options of referrals he could arrange (physical therapy, MRI, his partners whose speciality is necks and /or an injection for the pain). It is so nice to have a doctor care about what his patient would like the next step to be. If I ever need surgery for my other shoulder I definitely go back to Dr. Van den Berghe.

Dr. Van den Berghe is a wonderfully skilled surgeon! He is kind, compassionate, and a good listener. He answers every question asked. I have had two rotator cuff surgeries, both with excellent results. Prior to surgery, he works to eliminate any fears and makes sure you understand what to expect. I would HIGHLY recommend him.

Dr Vanderberghe is such a great surgeon. I had no pain after shoulder surgery! My physical therapist insisted I go to him because his outcomes are so great.
