J Stephen Scott's Online Review Report Card

I had to wait 2 1/2 hours for my office appointment. He thought I had SMAS but during surgery decided I didn't, so he just repaired my hiatal hernia then took off on vacation, I never got to speak to him again. His office did not schedule a follow up visit and his associate doctors are rude. I wouldn't recommend him to anybody.

They are the best!!! Dr Scott talks to you straight, he doesn’t talk around the issue. Andrew his assistant is excellent you wil love him.

I was referred to dr. Scott buy KU Hospital he knew immediately what to do he explained everything in detail what I needed done surgically he is very kind and the best surgent that I've ever been to

Dr. Scott performed duodenal switch on me in November 2019. He saved my life. I have gone from 306 to 144. I must say at first, his personality was very dry and to the point. In the year I have known him, he is very friendly and informative. He answers all my questions and is very thorough in his explanations. I would highly recommend this Dr.

I was sent from 3 and a 1/2 hours away & Dr. Scott saved my life on two occasions!!! Nobody could find a thing wrong but he did & we finally got answers!!! He is the most amazing physician I've ever had & I know it's a long ways for a doctor but my husband and I are going to be making the drive or having different ways to keep in touch bcuz he gave me back my life!!! For that I'll never be able to thank him for that!!! I was transferred from my local hospital twice & each time he was there to welcome me & get working on fixing me!!! Him & all the amazing residents that work with are the most amazing people that have come into my life since all this medical crap started!!! God bless you all!!!

Dr. Scott is a leading surgeon in Bariatrics and the doctor that others come to when there is a tough case to be solved or fixed. He is very knowledgeable and take great care of his patients. He instills the need for the highest patient care into his staff and associates. I think he may be the best Bariatric & Metabolic Specialists in the field. He is straight forward, tells it as it is, and does not waste your time. He always makes sure I have the answers that I need before the end of the appointment. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to take on the hard and life changing process of weight loss surgery!

I was a referral from another surgeon. I found Dr Scott to be very knowledgeable of my situation and was very thorough with explaining what all my options were. I did not feel rushed and he took a lot of time explaining things. He and his staff were awesome. Would definitely recommend this office

I’m very happy with the health services that’s being provided by Dr Scott and this office. I was and still nervous but the entire are making me feel at ease about the procedures that I have to have done and the whole process. This far I’m very satisfied!

Office was clean, staff were helpful, doctors seemed genuinely interested in my concerns . I feel a genuine review would be more informative after treatment as this was just the consult visit.
