Extremely professional, yet warm
I have been going to Dr. Graves for my annual skin check (history of skin cancer in my family) for 3 years now. He is always very thorough, professional and personable. Answers any questions I have and gives great feedback.
Save your time and money, avoid this dermatologist. He visited with me for less than 10 minutes, was dismissive of my issues and made it seem like there would never be a cure for my issues. Left with a bad taste in my mouth, I won’t be going back.
First appt with Dr. Graves. He is dismissive, and patronizing in nature. He looked at my skin for 30 seconds before diagnosing me with a chronic condition and prescribing 3 medications. No desire to discuss root cause, simply maintain with prescriptions for…ever.
Very thorough, very busy, but answered all my questions. I give him 5 stars. My wife has seen him for over a year. Five stars every visit!
When I made my first appointment on the phone (after # of people said how incredible Dr Graves is),they ask what are you inquiring about in the visit ? I said I have small red dots on my torso, brittle nails and questions on my hair shedding (all in the scope of a dermatologist) Day of, I paid my co-pay & entered the room, I was told Dr. Graves will only address one issue and I would have to make two separate appointments for nails and hair, I said really? I also had a question on the Nu***fol (vitamin). She told me I could possibly ask that question. When Dr. Graves came in, he told me the separate appointment spiel. I said fine (at this point what could I do) I showed him my torso, he immediately said that it’s nothing, it comes with age. Two minutes not exaggerating) Thanked me for coming in & turned his back heading out the door I said wait I have a question about a vitamin he said usually I don’t believe in that but it has shown some benefits. I will not be rescheduling w/him.
Annual exam. Explains things well and is very efficient. Almost always on time which is one of my top priorities. Asks if patient has any concerns. Feel like I'm in good hands with him as my Doctor.
Dr. Graves barely spent 5 minutes listening to my problems, didn't examine me properly, and gave me something that made my issue worse. Just avoid him.
Dr. Graves is professional and thorough. He takes time to answer questions or address concerns. He is personable and shows interest in me as a person. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Graves is not only a dermatologist but also a pathologist. So, he can view and evaluate his own biopsies. I put my full faith in him and have for several years. I trust his diagnoses and appreciate him including me in determining his treatment plan.Dr. Graves is personable and kind, which is important when dealing with patients having possible skin cancers.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
