List of Jennifer P Bernard Md's Reviews
Dr Bernard is very kind. She takes the time to listen to all your concerns and doesn’t make you seem crazy. Especially being a first time parent, everything can seem to be concerning. She reassures you and gives you helpful websites/ support groups if needed.
She is my daughters doctor. She always listens to any concerns i have about her. Very knowledgable and wise. Always gives advice on what to do and what not to do. I never felt rushed. The nurses there are nice as well.
Extremely smart physician, she was kind and listened to my children’s concerns and was extremely forthcoming about her answers. I’m so thankful my family goes to her.
Amazing! She is extremely smart and tells it like it is. She was patient with my children and encouraging. My whole family likes her.
Terribly unprofessionally, rude, entitled and awkward to speak to.
Bernard goes through the motions to keep a high patient count and collect office visit fees. She is not good with elderly patients, and she is even worse with thier families. Bernard was my Mother's doctor after our family internist passed away. She was great at first, but as my Mom began to show signs of dementia, Bernard became less and less responsive to her changes. I began attending the appointments to voice my concerns, and when I tried to do so, this "doctor" told me I was a bad daughter for doing so. The office triage nurse was its only saving grace. Twice in 5 months, my Mom was hospitalized for medication-related issues. Bernard never visited and never followed up on the issues. The second hospitalization was around 24 days, long enough for me to make arrangements for assisted living care. For a 3-week hospital stay, we never received a bill. That should tell you how the network felt about my Mom's quality of care.
I have been seeing Dr.Bernard for almost 2 years. All the women in my family see her as well. She tends to dig into your personal life a little too much, picking and prying at you. It is overwhealming and makes me not want to go to the doctor. She has made my sisters cry on multiple occasions... the last visit I had with her she was rude, yelled at me for not following up. She clearly does not take good notes and had forgotten she took me off a medication, at my request, and was frustrated with me for not telling her. She wouldn’t stop talking long enough for me to tell her we had this talk my last appointment...
I actually like Dr. Bernard. She is reasonably knowledgeable and I would trust her treatment. However, I have had extremely bad experiences with her office staff (including a mean, bad-mouth, always-angry nurse) and for that reason, I would not recommend her office to anyone. (Dr. Bernard's own nurse, an African-American nurse is alright.)
Dr. Bernard is wonderful. She is thorough, knowledgeable and makes you feel like she really cares. I have found my Dr. for life.
Dr. Bernard is alright. However, her office staff, and in particular one of the nurses (a short, white female) are very unprofessional. The nurse in particular is rude, unpleasant, and bad-mouth. For that reason alone, I would strongly suggest that you stay away.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
