My wife and I were patients of Robert Wendland, MD for 20 years before he left to care for elderly parents. He trusted his large Primary Care practice to a doctor whose only experience was small, controlled, slower paced practices at Truman West. She also lost services of Dr. Wendland's Senior RN who was a valuable asset as his lead assistant in insuring a knowledgeable patient conduit and excellent physician/patient interaction. Don't have details on why Dr. Bequette left St. Joseph but after at least three RNs came and left the practice she moved to St. Luke's East Lee's Summit. We moved there for two years but left since she would never perform a digital exam on my prostate, nor would she order a PSA on either blood test she conducted. We were in our upper 70s and that was unconsionable medical procedurre for a senior male. The final instance was her attempt to switch us from Valsartan in favor of Clonidine. This is a drug to which our Cardiologist was vehemently opposed.

I am trying to get a hold of my Doctor's care team. Her old office message says call her new office. Her name is not listed. I am unable to talk to a person.

I have several chronic conditions and Dr. Bequette is the best primary care doctor I've ever had. She coordinates my care across several specialists and ensures that I'm getting the best care possible. She listens and stays current!

Awesome Doctor and nurse. Always takes extra time with you. Felt like I was in the best hands. Always returned calls. Hated losing her, St. Lukes is no longer in net work. 😭😭😭

This doctor was too young and inexperienced. She did not discuss my issues and concerns regarding the blood pressure medication changes from brand name to generic even though I tried to contact her. There were other issues and concerns she chose not to discuss. I found her to be unprofessional and can not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Bequette spends as much with you as you need. She takes the time to answer all your questions. She has a professional and caring way about her.
