I miss you Dr Russell you were my doctor before you left the facility on. MurLen I know you are doing well wish I could have you as my doctor again but I have Oscar insurance do u take that?

Went in to interview Dr. Russell to replace my previous Dr. who had retired. I was unimpressed to say the least. Most Dr. introduce themselves. She did not. She was extremely impersonal, barely had eye contact with me, and seemed irritated with my questions. She appeared to be more interested in securing costly tests and vaccines, than with my care. It’s a HELL NO for this practitioner!

Excellent care. Very satisfied with care. I would go back.

I don't think this Doctor sees anyone with more complexity than basic illness. I needed a simple prescription for maintenance medication for extremely mild hypertension. She was "uncomfortable" prescribing medication for hypertension (though it's one of the top things people see primary care providers for & I already had a prescription?) & referred me to a Cardiologist & told me to come back after I saw him. I had already seen a cardiologist & had passed all of the tests, but she refused to see me for very basic elevated blood pressure for some reason. So I saw the cardiologist she referred me to who laughed about the referral & indicated that it was ridiculous I got passed off to him. This all happened right before the pandemic hit & we went under stay home orders. I did have CVS call to try to refill the meds she wrote the prescription for when I saw her, but she refused because I haven't followed up -- during a stay at home order. Worst Doctor I've ever seen. She doesn't care at all

Too busy basking in the glory of her success to be bothered trying to correctly diagnose your ailment. Readily accepts your insurance payments though. Office staff is unprofessional, especially Carolyn.

It’s been 27 hours since my son’s ear tube surgery and he is recovering fast. My son is only 18 months old and the past few months he’s been on antibiotics to treat an ear infection that wouldn’t go away. The last past couple of days the baby changed to the worse and I was hopeless. We had an appointment with a different practice and they cancelled after we waited for a month or so. When I called dr Russell’s office they gave us an appointment the next day and the scheduled the surgery the next day. Monday I was hopeless Friday we are home after a successful surgery recovering fast. The nurses at the hospital made us feel like we are family. They explained everything in detail they were very courteous and the stayed with me through out the process. Dr Russell was excellent, she explained the procedure with simple words easy to understand and made me feel my baby was safe in her hands. When the procedure was over she explained to me precisely what the aftercare will be and I took my baby home.

Dr, Russell recognized a spot of skin cancer on my face on our very first visit. I had been to a dermatologist for several years about this spot, to be given a steroid creme that stopped the itch, but not the flaking. Dr. Russell suggested a biopsy which identified squamous cell skin cancer. On other occasions Dr. Russell has been forthright and efficient, but takes time to listen to personal issues as well. She is very conscientious, thorough. Thumbs up!

Dr. Russell has been my physician for more than 15 years now. She is the best doctor I have ever had. I have thought about moving away from the KC area, but have not because I do not want to have to find a new doctor. She has set the bar high. If you are looking for a physician, you will find none better than Dr. Russell. It's a shame I can only rate her with a max. of 5 stars!!
