I just moved my health care to St. Luke’s with Dr. Bozarth....all I can say is “Wow” big difference from KU Internal Medicine. My doctor at KU wouldn’t spend ONE extra minute with me, in the several years I was in their care...then they billed for everything they could possibly bill for....and then some. Constantly finding bogus charges on my bill..this was such a pleasant experience with St. Luke’s, I had to share!

I went in to see Dr. Bozarth for the first time yesterday for an annual physical, and knowing that I needed a Mirena replaced, I made sure that included a "well-woman" exam. I was told that since they don't replace the Mirena there, I should just have the GYN do the well woman exam at the same time. I just spoke with the GYN office where I was told I'd need to schedule a well woman exam before they'll schedule the Mirena. That same well-woman exam that should have been done yesterday when I saw Dr. Bozarth for my physical. Now I can't get in for the GYN exam until the afternoon of January 19th, meaning I'll need to take additional time off work, plus yet another appointment and time off for the Mirena. I feel as though she didn't want to be bothered with doing the full exam, and as a result a considerable amount of my time is wasted. She was otherwise pleasant, but ill-informed about what my needs were, and didn't bother to find out.

I think she's great. When a followup visit was necessary, she worked me right in. She took the time to go over my rather extensive medical history and make a pl zzn for my continued care.
