I had a great experience with the doctor and nurse, zero complaints about the care I received. My complaint is about their billing practices. I’ve been paying my account on time every month on a scheduled payment plan, which their office offered to me. And every month I receive a bill that says my account is past due and being considered for collections. I’ve called the office three times to try to get this resolved with no luck. Don’t appreciate the threats when I am paying on time and exactly as agreed. I don’t know how else to get help with this, so patients beware. 12/2023 update: I also received a surprise bill six months after my appointment. I thought my account had already been paid in full. These things affect peoples’ budgets and lives. So my summary is: wonderful caregivers, terrible billing practices.

Dr. Yang is wonderful and always reassures me when needed- she has personally called me multiple times and always shoots it straight and tells me exactly what she thinks. I have gone to many cardiologists and have had bad experiences at quite a few but Dr. Yang knows how to make you feel heard and reassured! Great doctor!

Katie answered the phone. She addressed 3 times in terms of appointments, medicines, and lab orders. Smooth, thorough and professional. Thank you, Katie.

Spoke with the lady who answered the phone and she was very unfriendly, snippy and down right rude! Fortunately there are more heart specialists in the area that I do not need to pay for her to be rude to me just to inquire about appointments. Sad that during a stressful situation the person answering the phone would interact the way they did and make life more stressful. I would hope the phone interactions would be monitored. I’m sure the doctors are wonderful here but I nor my family will find out as we will not go to them because of the appointment lady (a term used lightly).

I have faith in my Cardiologists, the staff and receptionists. I would recommend Midwest Heart and Vascular Specialists to anyone.

I am so very grateful for the staff with emphasis on Dr. Jones and Kim, NP. I have been hospitalized twice in 3 months with a follow up appointment earlier this week. I explained that I have no insurance due to a MVA last year with residual effects. Despite outstanding bills not paid, Dr. Jones and Kim continued to treat me both inpatient and outpatient with emphasis on "If you think about not following up with me because you don't have insurance, then don't." They treat me with respect and dignity even though I feel so embarrassed and schedule outpatient follow up closely. Unbeknownst to me Dr Jones consulted with a vascular surgeon as he was so concerned about my arm after a failed cardiac cath. This staff is exceptional! and Dr. Weisberg was also very kind and helpful when I was transferred. He intervened when the cath went awry to insure I would be okay. I am extremely grateful and reassured that no matter what happens, these wonderful competent professionals will insure that everything is done to keep me here on earth with professional intervention and advocacy! Thank You so very much!!!

Dr Marcum is AWESOME, he gave me better news then I expected and I trust him with my heart and health. His office staff are fantastic.

Dr. Friedman is a great listener and explainer of information, Service by the front desk and nursing staff is great.
