Terrible visit
doctor stated she believes masking kids doesnt result in speech delay ... newsflash yes it does. avoid this "doctor"
In September 2021 our son went to Dr. Burgert’s clinic with fever, inner ear pain, and a small bit of ear drainage and what we thought were swollen glands in his neck. After checking him out and confirming he most probably had an ear infection she asked why he hadn’t been vaccinated for Covid. My wife replied that our son, and both she and I, had decided to wait until more research had been done and more time had passed to see what the side affects of the vaccine were. Dr. Burgert’s entire demeanor immediately changed and she began raising her voice and practically demanding that we accept that we don’t know what we’re talking about and that we should trust the advice given by medical professionals. She then threatened to call child protective services on my wife for not wanting to get our son vaccinated for Covid-19. My wife shared our concerns with Dr. Burgert over how people that were vaccinated were still getting Covid and how the definition of a vaccine had been changed in major dictionaries to no longer say it provided immunity from the disease and that it said they were therapeutic treatments to lessen the effect of the virus. Also that we were concerned about the complete immunity from consequences, lawsuits and prosecutions that vaccine manufacturers and the government had, and asked about the heart inflammation people were having and also the blood clots that people were getting. She told my wife that based off our belief in online conspiracy theories that we shouldn’t be allowed to continue to be parents and that she would strongly caution us to stop spreading conspiracy theories if we wanted to be able continue parenting our son. This lady straight up threatened my wife and also said we should be charged with child neglect if our son ever got Covid because we were putting him at risk by not being vaccinated ourselves and because we refused to allow our child to be injected with some experimental therapeutic.
We asked several times for a referral for our son. It was never done. On another occasion we had labs done and the results took over a week, when I called to check the status and left my number, she purposely called my husband back and told him she "appreciated my persistence". It's safe to say, we won't be back.
Beautiful new office. Great staff. Care is highly personalized.
We live up by the airport and are willing to make the drive to see Dr. Natasha because she is amazing! She has been seeing my children from infancy; almost 15 years. She always takes her time with us and answers all of our questions. She is current with research and an advocate for healthy screen time and mental health. I can’t say enough how much we love Dr. Natasha!
We started seeing Dr. Kevin when he worked at the Plaza location and he has cared for all 4 of my kiddos, one of which is medically complex and has special needs. We live near the Plaza location but when he moved to South OP, we decided we would make the drive to see him. They do pediatric health care here the way it should be done. The new office is beautiful and very child friendly, the nursing staff is wonderful (we love Cathy and the their NP Emily) and Dr. Kevin is a one of the best pediatricians in the KC metro. He is personable, practices evidence based medicine and my kiddos love him. I have complete trust in his ability to care for my kiddos.
We LOVE Dr Natasha, so glad she and Dr Kevin opened a location out south- super easy to get to off 69 (just don’t type the suite # when putting into your navigation app). The new location is so cute and clean- love the way they set up the sick and well waiting areas.
We love Dr. Ragsdale. She has been excellent with my two kids. We appreciate the urgent care hours this practice offers.
Dr. Burgert has a public Instagram where people can ask questions. I asked her very nicely (I have screenshot proof) why she recommends the HepB vaccine to newborns when born to mothers who are HepB negative (screened during pregnancy). HepB is an STD spread through sex and needles and the vaccine wanes after 10 years so at age 10-12 when kids need it most it is no longer effective. HepB Vaccine also contains glyphosate found in the recent roundup jury trial to cause cancer. I said all this and asked why she recommends it to babies at birth, 2 months and 4 months - I honestly want to hear why pediatricians specifically advocate for that vaccine in particular. I was immediately blocked on Instagram by her. I was shocked - as a concerned parent she should have intelligently responded to my question instead of blocking me. Doctors are supposed to educate - blocking me shows what kind of doctor she is. If I lived in the Kansas City area I would NEVER take my child to see a pediatrician like Dr. Burgert who couldn't ask my very reasonable question above.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
