T.J. Rasmussen's Online Review Report Card

Had a total knee replacement in 2005 at the age of 43 and it is still going strong today. Check ups have been great and his staff has been extremely helpful when transferring my medical records to have a problem checked out when in New Orleans. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone!!

Superb doc, great dicussions before surgery, fantastic outcome. After several years of walking on the knee, just like my younger knee, never even think about it except to grin occasionally how nice it is when walking. Several physical therapists told me they had seen many similar outcomes. Highest possible rating.

Recovery after knee replacement was quicker and less painful than expected. The reconstruction went so well that we did the second knee and I'm back hiking and playing pickleball which I had given up years before. Dr TJ was recommended by a co-worker and has done the knees for several of my co-workers now. We all think he is the best.

Dr. TJ is my ONLY go to surgeon for my orthopedic needs, ie knee replacement performed in 2014 on my right knee. Exceptional surgery! Exceptional nurses! Exceptional food! I am having my second knee replacement August 9th 2022. Very, very happy! Looking forward to being out of pain plus visiting, My Ortho Journey, again.

My knee replacement in August 2020 by Dr. T.J. Rasmussen couldn't have gone better. I had a pretty bad knee (severe arthritis from torn & repaired ACL decades ago). I was afraid it might not ever be fully repairable. But Dr. T.J. did a fantastic job replacing my knee. After 10 weeks of post-surgery physical therapy, it was doing great and still is. Dr. T.J. is an excellent surgeon, meticulous and caring. I was very pleased with him and his staff and the hospital experience at KCOI.

Dr. Rasmussen spent sufficient time with me to present the issues and possible solutions. I trust his judgement and would recommend him. He’s already done one knee surgery for me and is caring for another knee situation.

Ron Ross, the Physicians Assistant, was extremely rude, argumentative and condescending. Then came the doctor, T. J. Rasmussen, who was only marginally better. I was seeking a second opinion, but was met with an attitude of "why are you here if you don't want to schedule surgery, I'm busy." When asked about alternative types of treatment, it was as if I had asked the most ridiculous question possible. Additionally, the entire appointment process, transfer of records, etc. left a lot to be desired. There is a total lack of communication on their part. I will be going back to my first doctor.

Dr TJ is a great doctor. He replaced my R knee in 2015 and my recovery was smooth and my knee is very good. He replaced my husband’s L knee in 2018 and he healed well and has total function. I have recommended this surgeon to 2 friends who now have new knees as well. We’re all grateful for his caring and skill!

I had one knee done in 2004, the other in 2008. It is now 2018 and my "Radmussen knees" are still perfect. Over the years I have recommended several people to him. A few of them had botched replacements previously. Everyone referred said he was amazing and wished they had found him earlier.

I had both knees replaced at the same time Dec 2015. I had the procedure in their facility. I could not be more pleased with Surgeon, Staff, and facility. I was doing stairs the next day and walking with a cane within a week. I can kneel and do things others told me would not happen. The Dr made no unreasonable? promises. ?However, I feel his procedure, off the center of the knee had a lot to do with how well ?I recovered and can flex my knees today.
