Dr Valerie Deardorff is the ABSOLUTE FINEST HAND AND ELBOW SURGEON IN THE USA!!! I went to the Mayo Clinic to undergo a “ First Row Carpectomy “ ( removal of the first row of carpal bones just above the wrist) having been sent there by an Orthopedic Surgeon at the Lake of the Ozarks. I was referred to Dr Deardorff and was pleased with her attention to detail and her thorough answers to my questions. She sat down and gave me her full attention; she used visuals to aid in discussing my situation. She spoke clearly and didn't rush through her diagnosis and treatment options. Plus Dr Deardorff has a pleasant personality which is so refreshing when discussing dreary medical problems. It was everything I hoped for in a medical consultation.

I just recently was referred to Dr. Deardorff. She is extremely kind and thorough. She takes time to listen, and wanted a new test done. That test was scheduled and performed the next week. Dr. Deardorff puts you at ease with her smile and friendly demeanor. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Dardorff.

Dr Deardorff shows a lot of compassion while talking to me. She explains my diagnosis and treatment procedure very well. She gives me treatment options. …we can do __________ and it that doesn’t work we can do____________ or we can just skip to the second option. I really like knowing I have options in my treatment and being able to discuss the options I have….

Dr. Deardorff fixed my trigger finger with one visit to her office. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone that’s experiencing any kind of problems with their hands. She also told my husband and I what we need to do to adjust our hands so that they did not fall asleep. We bought the product that she recommended and it works. No more falling asleep for our hands!

Dr.Deardorff is a top notch surgeon. She diagnosed me fast and repaired me fast and has me in the way to recovery. Such a caring doctor, really knows the in and outs and what I was going through. I usually have a tons of questions after a visit but she was thorough and left me feeling confident in the procedure.
