My father was in an assisted living facility for a very short time but a nurse thought my father needed Hospice and sent forms to Dr. Reeds office and the reply was “NOPE” in caps. Very professional👎. When confronting his office the nurses reply was he didn’t read it all(nice huh). Needless to say my father passed away a few days later(on Mother’s Day). Death certificate says cause Chronic Kidney Disease, how would he know, he hadn’t seen him in months, at least it didn’t say Coronavirus. BEWARE ! Oh yeah, my sister called and wanted to talk to Dr. Reed, his office took a message and he has never called her back. Some doctor and he’s the professional.
I think he once cared about his patients. Now he has become an arrogant, rude, pompous, self-absorbed human. He does not listen nor does he answer questions. I wouldn't recommend this doctor.

Would rather hear himself speak than to listen to patient. More concerned about showing his knowledge off to female
If there was a rating of less than one star, I would give it to him. He was so busy flirting with a Med student during my visit and making little snide remarks, that he gave me NONE of his time. I came in with one piece of paper explaining the kidney problems I have had through the years and what was going on now, plus my MD recommended that I see him, and he THREW the paper across his desk and said :" I'm supposed to read this missive?" ! And he did not. He was rude and uncaring!
Very caring and provides excellent care and advice. Takes time to listen.
Dr Reed is an exceptional physician, he is professional, caring and should receive a 10 star rating.
This nephrologist was very informative. He seemed kind and caring and took excellent care of my mother.
This nephrologist treated my husband's kidney failure by pumping him full of laxatives. He is still sick and he is the only nephrologist within a 200 mile radius. Guess we're screwed.
this doctor was a complete jerk and treated me and my family like we meant nothing and had no choice in what happened to my grandfather. He made rude comments and misinformed us of information. I wish i could take his liscence away but for now i will just live with telling everyone to AVOID HIM!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
