List of Maureen M King's Reviews
I loved Dr. Maureen King. She went above and beyond for me and made me feel so comfortable. I was seeing another doctor, but when my insurance switched I could no longer see her so all my records went to Dr. King. It was already determined I needed a hysterectomy and I was in a lot of pain. Dr. King and staff wasted no time getting me set up for surgery. She was caring and made me feel like it was important to her that I was taken care of even though I wasn’t originally her patient. I strongly recommend Dr. King and her staff to anyone looking for an OBGYN.
I saw Dr. King for fibroids, ovarian cysts, and endometriosis. She carefully listened to all my concerns, she explained the procedure I needed to have, and answered all of my questions. She has a very kind and easy demeanor and makes you feel very comfortable. My surgery went very well, as did my post visits. She is wonderful!
I do recommend Dr.King to my friends, and have done so often. She has been my doctor for 25 years, through a hysterectomy and always with consistent, compassionate care. She is always up to date on current medical research, and , especially as we've gone through the stresses of the pandemic, it has been so reassuring to have her as my doctor. She always takes time to listen, she is thorough and always takes care to be sure I understand the information. She takes me as a partner in maintaining my own health, and she always listens carefully, addresses my concerns until I'm satisfied.
Dr King has delivered all 3 of my babies. She is kind compassionate and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend her
When my OBGYN retired and I wanted to have another baby, I had no idea where to go. I spoke with my friends, and Dr. King came highly recommended from several. I saw her in prep for having my 3rd child. She was great, super nice, very knowledgeable, and patient. She answered all my questions, helped me prepare, and I was successful in baby #3. During my pregnancy she always took her time, was kind and continued to answer my questions. She has also been my dr for two post baby procedures, which went fantastic both times. I see her every year for my annual, and she is just so friendly & time efficient, but always takes her time to check in on the rest of my life. I appreciate her thoroughness, high level of knowledge and kindness. I would recommend her hands down to anyone, no questions asked. You can tell that she cares deeply and has a passion for what she does. She is an amazing doctor who will take amazing care of you all while supporting you and your health care decisions.
Dr. King is a thorough and caring physician, and a skilled and thoughtful surgeon. She helped me understand my options and, when the time was right, expertly took care me during and after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. King and only wish I had met her sooner!
I am looking for a new Dr as I am new in the area and a friend recommended this place but the only one taking new patients was her, now I know why. She was very short, rude, didn't even made eye contact. Super impersonal, and make you feel like you she really doesn't care about the patient. Will continue the search.
It is pretty rare, for me to write a review on a Dr. but this experience needs to be heard. I am the Mother of a 31 year old first time Mom that had her first baby one week ago today. I’ve had 4 children and all experiences were different. I will skip thru some of the details and focus on the important issues. My daughters water broke 22 hours prior to delivering her baby. Fairly normal... she gets to the hospital struggling to dilate- she was stuck at 4cm for 7 hours. After her awesome nurse worked with positioning and Petosin by instruction she went to 7, once at 7- my daughters baby’s oxygen began to drop with each contraction. Dr. King was contacted, laid off Petosin for a bit, gave the baby a break. Dilating stopped- Dr. King said turn back on the Petosin- it was fairly obvious to all of us that something was up with the umbilical cord. Petosin off- contractions nearly stopped. The most amazing nurse worked hard to keep her going, reposition the baby, monitor the babys oxygen, had oxygen on my daughter for the baby. Reaching out to Dr. King- very regularly. (Keep in mind we never met Dr. King) now she’s at 9 3/4 cm, oxygen worse, struggling to rebound, won’t dilate, cluster contractions for hours at this point but no progress, the room was tense but Emmi was incredible! She reaches out to Dr. King again explains the baby is not rebounding well, at all. Dr. King suggest Petosin again - I’m no medical professional but I knew the baby needed out. Another call to Dr. King- now we have three nurses, very tense, daughter on oxygen and a baby not rebounding. Guess what? Dr. King isn’t on call now. (She was on call 20 minutes prior) Dr King said call Dr. Howe- seriously??? - the room is more intense, the baby is in distress and that’s what you get? Thank God Dr. Howe was at the hospital or almost at the hospital. Emmi remained professional, still never left the room except to speak with Dr. Howe. Who needed to be brought up to speed. Time for me to leave the room/ my daughter was stressed, the baby in distress, Dr. Howe was there within minutes and decisions need to be made. After a few hours of distress on more than off, getting worse with each passing hour the decision was made its best to do a c-section. Hey Dr. King, I’m only a mother of four- but I probably would have suggested that a couple hours sooner. Thank goodness this happened when it did, the baby was removed safely, my daughter is on the mend, but the umbilical cord was wrapped 3 times around the baby’s neck and the baby was slightly off angle - had Dr. Howe not come on call and had Emmi and the amazing nursing staff not been so great, I’m not sure how this story might be written. I’d like to say Dr. Howe was awesome! Her Dr. (Dr. Gaslightwala) is very much respected and my daughter enjoyed every appointment and has complete trust in the entire practice, except Dr. King. Emmi and the entire nursing staff, thank God for you! I know you didn’t get off work on time, but you cared, you were absolutely brilliant! Dr. King shame on you-
HORRIBLE doctor. Handed me downs syndrome pamphlets at almost every appointment. It was like she was trying to spook me. She is also RUDE. FIRED her and went to Julie Martin, who is FANTASTIC. Only gave one star because it wouldn't let me select ZERO.
Dr king has been my and my Daughters obgyn for 12 plus years. I have found that she is an amazing physician. Always caring always takes the time that we need to explain our health care needs she delivered my granddaughter and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else , she's an amazing doctor !

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
