don’t waste your time. booked an appointment online and wasn’t checked in until about 30 minutes later. nurse rushed everything and was careless. waited an hour to be seen. the doctor saw me for five minutes and told me she couldn’t do anything. i paid $160 to be told go see another doctor. they told me to apply ice and use aquaphora on my concern then dismissed me. ridiculous staff.

Drove the wife to Shawnee Advent for chest congestion. Ample parking and very convenient location on South side of Shawnee Mission. Quick check-in and waited 14 minutes until admitted to a room. Drew was the medical assistant to prep prior to seeing the doctor/NP. Drew was professional, thorough and took his time to ensure all questions/concerns were met. Paula was the doctor/NP whom displayed patience, personable and professional etiquette and explained the root of the issue and diagnosis/care in non-medical terms. We were impressed with everyone involved from the front desk admissions to the final discussion. Highly recommend.

The wait was looong due to only one practitioner being in the building, but everyone working there was really kind. The dr did not rush and absorbed everything I said with kindness.

Really poor customer service and bedside manner from all parties. This location may advertise xray capabilities but the table has a nondisclosed weight limit of 300lbs which may pose a problem for some people. I reached out to corporate about my terrible experience and never heard back. When the staff is this bad, it's usually a problem with leadership. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I had an appointment at 9am... Got thete early. When checking in I said im here for an appointment... She replied you mean a reservation... So the get go she was rude!! Then she calls me back up demanding I pay something or i cant be seen!!!! I always ise Advent utgent cate when unable to see my PCD.. This is the first time here. Not only was it embarressing for me, I had just paid 200.00 On my balance 3 days ago! Receptionist said i was Rude! Number one you dont treat people like that when your in the position of the forst contact! Yruly this woman dark hair oriental has zeto compassion and no business working with people! Let alone health care!!!!!! I went back to her snd said here i can pay something with my health card.. She GLARED at me and said I told you I already billed you! Bottom line it was uncalled for! If someone is sick and needs to be seen You dont harrass them for money!!!!!!
