Dr. Jennifer strung me along for 9 long months telling me she was going to reverse my colostomy. She told my mother she'd reverse it. She told me she'd reverse it. Then, she just flat out said she wouldn't do it last week. I wasn't given the opportunity to opt out at the time I had the surgery. Had I known what her policy was about smoking I'd have NEVER let her do my surgery. I'd rather be dead than wear this bag.

What stood out at my last visit was the fact that Dr. Jennifer spent 9 months lying to me about reversing my colostomy. Last week she flat out said she wouldn't do it because I smoke and am having an awful time quitting. I wasn't afforded the opportunity to say no to my surgery knowing about her policy to begin with. I based my decision to have surgery on the fact that she consistently said she would reverse it. It's not posted in her office, it's not a standard of care, and it's not posted on a consent for surgery. I would have said no. I'd rather be dead than wearing this disgusting poop bag.

I enjoyed my visit with Dr. McAllaster, she showed a genuine concern for me not only for the issue I was referred to her for, but also on a personal level with my past history. She explained the procedure that will be done in a way that was very clear and easy to understand. I would definitely recommend her to family and friends.

Dr. McAllister was fantastic! Great bedside manner, down to earth, kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. Her nurse was also very professional. My husband felt very comfortable under her care!
