Dr Carlson treated my 8mo old son today and throughout the procedure he was gentle and my son didn’t cry at all. It was nice having a doctor that wasn’t in a hurry and rushing to get to the next patient. Wish there were more caring doctors like him! My son was treated great and not like he was “just another patient”.

Went above and beyond to take care of a kidney stone for me. I appreciated his forthright conversation to brief me on my condition and the recommended treatment and why. Would go to him again without hesitation.

Dr. Carlson did a circumcision revision on my 16 month old boy (complications from original procedure that was NOT performed by Dr. Carlson). Dr. Carlson has followed us since the original procedure until the time was right to revise it. He and his office staff were amazing. The staff at the hospital seemed very comfortable around him which made me feel at ease placing my baby in his care. Dr. Carlson clearly has the respect of those he works with and many nurses commented on his excellent care. I highly recommend Dr. Carlson for all your urological needs!

Dr Carlson doesn’t rush his appointments thru and cares about your overall health. He’s big on prevention and doesn’t just jump to do surgery just because others will. That said, mine required surgery and my follow up care was incredible. I had some additional questions after my surgery and when I called the answering service, and they connected me to him, at 10pm no less, he was very nice and answered all my extra questions. I will be going to Dr Carlson whenever I need him, and will recommend him to anyone.

I’ve have never felt so belittled in my entire life. I went for an appointment for my kidney stones and I got talked down to about my weight and how I need to get on a plant based diet. He talked about all the medications I’m on and how this is why Americans aren’t healthy. I went simply for a check up on my kidney stones and instead got a weight management appointment. He is so disgraceful and I’m ashamed I even had a doctor like him.

Didn’t want to start out with expensive tests until we ruled out some other things and expose my daughter to unnecessary radiation. Great to talk to and great sense of humor.

Dr. Carlson is an exceptional physician. I would see him for everything if I could. He took the time to answer my questions. Not a doctor that will beat around the bush or just tell you what you want to hear... but he will fix you! Doesn't recommend surgery unless absolutely needed!
