Nothing bad to say about Dr. Aftab but unfortunately the front office staff is incompetent. I saw another primary care doctor for a second opinion for years of chronic health conditions but was unhappy with him and returned to Dr. Aftab. After making an appointment with Dr. Aftab, I am told I cannot return to her care due to seeing another primary care physician within the same system. The supervisor made me feel stupid and acted that the average person is supposed to know medical rules that should be expressed to patients. I was never told that I could not switch back to a doctor. It also would have been nice to know when I made the appointment 6 weeks ago rather than making an hour drive then being told via voicemail 20 minutes before my appointment they were not sure if I could even be seen. I now understand switching back and forth may be frowned upon, but at least tell your patients they can't do so, and not 20 minutes before an appointment after it has been on the schedule for over a month.
