Dr.Challa is a top A Excellent Dr. He knows his medical work & his preceedures goes at ease. I wouldn't want any other Dr. His done my upper G.I. & lower G.I.,, and I feel totally confident with his great medical profession. He's FAST!! THANK YOU DR.CHALLA!! Top of the world to you,Mary Burnett
He's been amazing, no other dr was able to figure out what was going on and only treated my systems. Dr challa got to the root cause and is working to make it better
From years ago, Dr. Challa's office is very kind and caring professionals. I have an upcoming appointment and I am confident that my current issues will be resolved also.
Started with Dr Balaji who blamed everything on IBS. Switched to Dr Challa, went from bad to worse. Challa has nurse practitioner do all the job. He came to room 20 seconds to tell me he was ordering tests that nurse practitioner decided. Test results was interpreted incompetently. They told me my HIDA test was normal. I told them no, %98 EFT means hyperkinetic gallbladder then they referred me to surgeon to remove gallbladder. I felt like Im making healthcare decisions on my own. Dr Challa is rude, arrogant, doesnt care for patients, no bedside manners. If Drs' pay depended on actually curing patients, Drs wouldnt be so pompous, arrogant, incompetent and noncaring. I asked for fibroscan for enlarged liver. They didnt treat my enlarged liver at all and did MRI to tell me i have enlarged liver - which we knew bc of MRI prior year. This place is a waste of money and time.
I was having major digestive issues and tried to make an appt. with Dr. Challa, but his staff refused to make the appointment since I was not due for a colonoscopy at the time!
Ive been seen by Dr. Challa for approx 9-10 years. After seeing a couple of doctors, (none addressing the problem btw) he was willing to admit me. Due to my diagnosis, i was extremely concerned. He listened to my concerns and addressed them as expected/needed. I didnt feel rushed, etc. This is the norm. Highly recommended.

nurse is extremely rude and snotty
He is very experienced Gastroenterology dr. But very poor time management and always in a hurry. Because he has other patients waiting. Huge miss communication among the staff. What patient say will not get the dr and what dr suggest or prescribe will not be given to patients. Dr hardly gives time to talk, he only comes to prescribe the medicine.
Overall the office was VERY dated, in the receptionist area there were a lot of patients files and notebooks and it looked a mess, not clean and straightened up. That made me question if he is up with technology. With the overall appearance of the office I have to question if his equipment is up to date as well. I will not be returning, I have had some problems since the procedure, going to address them with my PCP.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
