Let my mom bleed out and die. wanted to "monitor bleeding" although she had already lost around 4 pints of blood and wasn't taking to the transfusions.

Dr. Lancaster may be good at his job-in that he is able to perform a surgery effectively. But his bedside manner is extremely lacking in warmth and my scar, after more than a year post-thyroidectomy-is extremely disappointing in appearance. I wish I had consulted more doctors or even a plastic surgeon to close the incision. I have had a lot of trouble with my scar. It is disheartening to try to recover from the disease while simultaneously dealing with the scar which many people locally have told me they had better experiences with and their scars look far better.

He left me to die and drowning in fluids, told my family to start making funeral arrangements. Well guess what 12 years later here I am. What a absolute JERK!

My entire journey to where I am now is due to Dr. Lancaster and Via Christi. His continual follow up and concern speaks volumes. Couldn't have asked for a better doctor/surgeon.

Dr. Lancaster a submandular mass from my right lymph node in my neck. I was in a tremendous amount of pain, however, he refused to order any pain medication. I was pretty upset when I left the surgery center.

He was very rude and uncaring, even said “I don’t care”. Very blunt, I don’t mind that, but also very negative. He may be an excellent surgeon but I don't feel comfortable putting my life into the hands of such a callous and indifferent doctor. I wouldn’t recommend him to anybody.
