Dr. Grizzell is my nephew and a damn good one at that. Since he was a small kid you knew there was something just special about him. I remember him telling me how he use to take his moms knitting needles and at stop lights work on his skills stitching. He is one Doctor that truly has compassion for his patients. I am so proud to call him family.

This Doctor is amazing. My dad had the TAVR Procedure and is doing great. He visited my dad several time while he was in the hospital. He listened to concerns and addressed them. Absolutely amazing!!

Dr. Grizzell performed CABG surgery on me bypassing three arteries in August 2014. As an electrical engineer I appreciated his methodical approach and communication with me before and after the surgery. In 2019 I moved to Clovis, NM and my new heart doctor at Covenant Medical Hospital performed a Cardiac Catheterization in early 2020 which showed my arteries were still functioning well and was impressed with Dr. Grizzell’s work.

I’m not even sure where to start this review. There’s so much to say about my experience with Dr Grizzell and his staff that I’m a bit speechless. Dr Grizzell could not have been more professional or more personable ever!!! I was truly blown away by the generosity of time and experience and the level of care and compassion I received. I can’t thank Wendy and her staff enough as well. I was treated so beautifully and respectfully that I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to thank Dr Grizzell and his staff properly. I received the most wonderful care and attention that I’m completely humbled and most grateful. Truly changed my life.

Dr. Grizzell patiently explained all facets of my surgery, and was candidly factual about the results and expectations for recovery. A refreshing change from dealing with most other surgeons.

My husband recently had a carcinoid tumor removed from his right lung at Ascension Via Christi St Francs.He was fortunate enough to have Dr Brett Grizzell and his team to preform the robotic surgery. From the first pre-op appointment, Dr Grizzell gave us a sense of security and confidence that the operation would be a success and that recovery would be much easier than the traditional surgery. Thanks to Dr. Grizzell and his team, the entire experience was exceptional and my husband was able to return home feeling very well after a difficult surgery.

Dr. Grizzell worked with my mother two different times this year and my parents are beyond grateful for his expertise. He communicates well with his patients and truly cares for them. We owe so much to him and his dedication to provide the best care for my mother. Thank you Dr. Grizzell, we are thankful God provided the best and our mother is still with us.

From pre op to post op he was completely honest and transparent. Was alway willing to spend time with family when needed. I appreciated his sense of humor when it was needed. It was a trying time for all of us but his bedside manner was outstanding and follow up visits in the clinic were helpful.
