He didn't like giving me pain medication for my Degenerative Disc Disease and later for my broken neck. When I went to another doctor so he wouldn't have to write the prescription anymore, he turned me in to the pharmacy as a drug addict and kept me from getting my medications from any other doctor. Petty, very petty sir.

I travel 90 miles to see Dr.Lauer for my needs, wait time isn't long at all, he is very kind and patience never rushes through your visit. His staff as well are super!

When I need medical attention, I am always confident that Dr. Lauer will identify the problem and apply the proper treatment. During the 15 yrs. he's been my doctor we've been through the mundane to cancer, and if I needed a specialist he sent me to the best. He's a caring, nice man.

I have four boys and we have been to a variety of doctors. Dr. Lauer is the one we have had for the longest time, because once we found him, we were done looking. He is patient and kind and takes his time. He really listens and cares about making an accurate diagnosis. The boys have always felt comfortable with him, as have I. I couldn't ask for more in a family physician! We are grateful to be able to have him as our doctor!

Dr. Lauer has always taken his time with our family & been very understanding & receptive to our concerns and needs. He runs proper tests & refers you as needed to specialists. He doesn't try to do it all, for example he doesn't do his own colonoscopy's, those are referred to Gastroenterologists etc. It's very convenient that they have their minor surgery center for specialists to be able to come the West side for minor procedures.

Wouldn't stand up to workers comp insurance and fight for my rights. Became impatient because I wasn't healing like he thought I should. Eventually gave up on trying to get rid of my pain, threw some pain pills at me and told me there was nothing more he could do for me. He was beligerant towards me because he was ordered by the comp insurance to be deposed (deposition). Demanded that my lawyer get him out of it. Before he was ordered by the court to be my workers comp dr i felt he was a good dr altho he did seem to like to send me to specialist for things like sinus allergies and various other pains I have. Almost all drs I have had always treated me themselves only sending me out if they couldn't get it taken care of satisfactly. He also always seems like he was in a hurry, barely spending any time with me. I would wait in the lobby usually 30 min after my scheduled time to be there, then be taken back to the little room to have to wait another 30 min. I have now switched dr.
