Maurice Strickland's Online Review Report Card

I finally feel like my asthma and allergies are under control after years of feeling like I was going to suffocate thanks to Dr. Strickland and his staff. They are always attentive and caring. I always look forward to saying hello to the nurses when I come in for shots.

I absolutely love these people! I should of came here years ago!

Dr. Strickland did extensive research to solve an unusual allergy, and regular shots have stopped all my allergies. The office is very professional and friendly.

Dr. Strickland finally made me feel heard after struggling with asthma and allergies for YEARS. He has given me hope. He has an excellent bedside manner and offers so many tools and resources for any questions. So thankful to have him local.

Dr Strickland has helped my daughter and myself for 8 years and cares about everyone we get weekly allergy shots and also see him when we have problems with are allergies doctor visits I would recommend him to everyone dr Strickland and his staff are awesome

Dr. Strickland and his staff are life savers for me. Before I came to see him, doctors would ignore me and wouldn't listen. I was in and out of the ER with such painful hives that I would have panic attacks. Doctor Strickland and his staff fought for me and advocated for me with my insurance. I'm now hive free as long as I don't miss my preventative medication. Dr. Strickland also discovered that I have Rhemetoid Arthritis and referred me to a Rhemetoid specialist. He also diagnosed a skin issue and is treating it because Infectious disease center couldn't even diagnose it. Also, everyone who works in the building goes above and beyond. I've been to many doctors for all of my health issues. He's the only one I truly trust.

Made an appointment here and was told my insurance would cover the visit. I paid a $70 copay the first visit and another $70 copay for the “follow up” visit. Only to later get a $600 bill later on for the allergy test . You would think they would run the cost by you before the test but they didn’t. They wouldn’t negotiate a customer pay price after me finding out about the bill either , normally doctors will tell you if it’s cheaper to pay out of pocket vs using insurance but no options we’re given to me. They just took my insurance did the tests and billed me later for it. If you go here make sure you are very clear they do not do anything without your knowledge of charges out of your pocket. I’ll also note the visits took way longer than it should have, my follow up visit was a complete waste of time and “copay” as well. Completely unrelated off topic conversations. I won’t be back and I won’t recommend this office to anyone.

He was so thorough and explained everything to us. He went above our expectations. He truly cares about your child/children!

If it was possible to give fewer than one star I would! Dr. Strickland diagnosed my son with multiple food allergies despite the fact that he had never eaten many of them. We've been giving him a tremendously limited diet for the past 8 month needlessly. Do not go to him. Get another referral. Drive to KC and take your kids to children's mercy.
