Nazih Moufarrij's Online Review Report Card

I was initially referred to KC for a deep brain stimulator to control my essential tremor. When I was informed that Dr. Moufarrij performed this surgery locally, I scheduled a consult. I was immediately at ease with him beginning with his nurse and continuing on through my consult with him. He explained in detail every step of the procedure, every side effect I could expect to have and what exactly recovery would look like. DBS is no simple surgery and he performed it with ease and confidence. I would recommend Dr. Moufarrij to anyone who wants a genuine, compassionate and dedicated provider.

My wife had slipped disk procedures done and I had carpal tunnel in both hands along with a fractured L5 vertebra. All of the procedures that was performed on both of us were exceptional, well explained, bedside manner, results and follow up. I highly recommend Dr. Moufarrij and his staff. Amazing!

This Dr. and ALL of his staff is amazing. He explains all that is about to happen, has excellent bedside manner and follow through. I have had carpal tunnel in both hands and a fractured L5 vertebra. My wife has had a bulging L5 vertebra. What he told us was going to happen and how we would feel after each procedure was 100% accurate. He is 1000% concerned with you and your recovery. You can't go wrong with Dr. Moufarrij and the staff he has surrounded himself with. They all share the same compassion and resolve.

I highly recommend Dr. Moufarrij. His compassion, bedside manner, results of the procedures we have had done were exactly what he said they would be to include recovery. He takes his time with you making sure you understand the upcoming procedures and he makes sure you are doing as expected afterwards. He and his staff are exceptional! Every one of them! He has operated on my hands for carpal tunnel, my wife's back for a bulging disk and my low back for a fractured L5 vertebra. As mentioned before, he and his staff are second to none.

I have had several surgeries with Dr. Moufarrij and cannot recommend him enough to other people. He has excellent bedside manner, listens, answers questions and wants what's best for his patients. His surgical skills are amazing as well!

Dr Moufarrij has absolutely the worst bedside manner I’ve ever seen in my career! I am a nurse and have worked with many different doctors with different personalities but my experience with Dr. Moufarrij when my mom was sick was nothing short of unprofessional. He walked into the room, slouched over in his chair and asked us why we were there and then proceeded to tell us that my mom had Glioblastoma and that there was nothing else that could be done. He proceeded to tell her that she needed to get her affairs in order. Being a nurse, I understand and can appreciate his level of honesty, however, the way Dr. Moufarrij delivered this information matters and it mattered to my mom. I was highly unimpressed with his attitude and would never recommend him to any of my friends or family. If you are seeking a doctor who you can trust and who will treat you as a valued individual, stay clear from this Neurosurgeon.

In October 2020 I began to experience paralysis in the lower half of my body. An MRI revealed a large tumor attached to my spine that was strangling my spinal cord. Dr Moufarrij performed emergency surgery to relieve the pressure on my spinal cord and save my legs. 24 hours after the surgery I experienced noticeable improvement. One year later I have completely recovered except for some lingering body fatigue due to cancer treatments. Without the brilliant skill of Dr Moufarrij I would be in much worse condition. I met him literally minutes before the surgery and he explained the procedure including risks and benefits. He honestly and clearly answered all of my question and after just a few minutes he gained my complete confidence. I very highly recommend Dr Moufarrij. He is a wonderful man.
