List of Park West Plaza Retirement Community's Reviews
TLDR: Short staffed, lazy, bedsores, unnecessary medication, loss of mobility, falls needing ER trips, dirty*Posting after she has been moved to avoid possible retaliation* My MIL was here for parkinson's dementia. When she was evaluated for admission, they said she wasn't at the highest level of care and they could handle the delusions and bad behavior that got her removed from assisted living. Two weeks later when she pulled the fire alarm, they said that she needed someone to be with her all the time or she couldn't stay because they couldn't handle her. They mark that they do showers when they don't. They have 3 CNAs during the day and 2 at night. I have not seen a single nurse any time I have visited. They don't have time to open the door for visitors so give out the codes. My MIL has fallen over and over again and the last time she broke and had to get plates and screws. When she got too rowdy and paranoid they would have to sedate her. Apparently, she was rowdy all day, every day. She slept through visits, wouldn't open her eyes and couldn't communicate. At the last visit to her new place, she was awake, could talk and seemed very happy to be able to participate in life. She can no longer walk because it was too hard to help her use the walker so they made her use a wheelchair. Because she was sedated, sitting in a chair for hours on end, she has a bedsore that has to be cleaned out multiple times and is on antibiotics. Please do not pay too much to send your loved ones to this facility that is no better than a rundown state facility!
Yep
The nurses aides are very helpful their service is great I am very disappointed with the food here
Our MIL stayed there and they kept loosing her things like her hearing aides and glasses. Lastly her false teeth. Who paid? Family! She went down hill fast there. Sad!
The staff at Park West are all extremely friendly, thorough and informative regarding my mother-in-law and her adjustment to making this her home. Their care and attention to her needs is heart warming! We live in another state, and they have put us at ease knowing she is being provided the best care possible, physically and emotionally.
My sister and I are very pleased with the help we have received from the staff at Park West with transitioning my mom from her own home to independent living at Park West. It has been a very difficult decision for my mom. The staff has keep close contact with her and even made some home visits to address any concerns she has about the move. In my mind the staff has gone above and beyond to welcome my mom into her new home and to make her part of the close family at Park West.
What a blessing Park West has been for my dad after the loss of mom! They feel like family! Good food, clean facility, compassionate care! Answered prayers!
Great community, beautiful campus, wonderful staff, and amazing care delivery!! #1 CARE.
Nice place can go from Independent Living all the way up
All they are concerned with is getting as much money from the elderly as quickly as possible. They will tell you anything you want to hear when you tour. Then as soon as you have signed and paid their $1750 non refundable community fee, you hear "Sorry, we gave you the wrong information. Oh well."

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
