Very pleased with the surgery, would highly recommend

Dr. Kolla was great both in my office visit and the surgery he performed . I appreciated his candid demeanor and common sense communication which made talking about sensitive things very easy from a male perspective. You are in good hands with this guy. Nice man.

Absolute nightmare. Attempted kidney stone removed but was not successful. Did NOT leave orders for pain medication with the hospital for me post surgery and I was in unbearable pain for over an hour while nurses tried to contact him to prescribe painkillers. Who leaves a patient without any post-surgery pain management??? I also developed an infection post surgery, another painful experience. I switched to a different Urologist who was able to remove the stone, manage pain, and clear up the infection - it was a night and day experience.

Dr. Kolla put off my husband's cancer surgery for 4 months and did not send my husband for other treatment, like chemo therapy or radiation in the 4 month period. Finally after surgery he told my husband he had gotten all the cancer and that he did not need chemo. When told by my husband's regular doctor that there was something showing up on a cat scan. Dr. Kolla said it was nothing. My husband died in May.

He made feel like he really wants to make sure people are healthy.

I needed a prescription refilled and the pharmacy said to call my doctor and so I did. I tried to talk to a nurse and left messages every day for 5 days. Nobody returned my calls and so I asked to talk to a nurse and they would not even talk to me. I finally called and they told me the doctor would call me back and he never did. It was a nightmare trying to talk to anyone and so after 8 days of trying to get a hold of someone I gave up and went to the Wichita Urology Group. These are an excellent group of doctors and competent nurses. The same thing happened a month earlier when I had another issue and I called and they said someone would call me back and I waited a week and heard nothing; no doctor and no nurse called; so apparently to them it was not worth checking out or getting labs done although it was concerning to me. I'll have my new doctor check it out to see what was missed. Kolla and his gang of nurses don't care about the patients they are just there for the checks.

He might be a good doctor but someone on his staff stole my copay or the via Christi billing office stole my money. At first the billing office said my copay was pending with the insurance company. After 6 weeks I never heard anything so I called them and they said "we have no record of you paying the $35 copay". It seems like his staff at the desk is poorly trained

Explained procedure thoroughly and was true to his word. Quite knowledgeable and easy to speak with.
