Thomas Frimpong's Online Review Report Card

I had spinal fusion with Dr. Frimpong and staff. I’m 50 years old and live an active life. I was scared I would never be the same after fusion surgery but knew it had to be done. Dr. Frimpong took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns during the consultation and really impressed me with his knowledge. On the morning of the surgery the staff was super efficient. I showed up and was on the operating table with no waste of time or delays. I couldn’t believe I was walking out of there that day. I never experienced the pain I thought I would and 4 days after surgery I quit taking pain meds. I returned to work after 4 weeks ( I don’t do any heavy lifting at work). I’m currently starting on week 6 and feeling great! Overall it was very little disruption to my life, the staff was great, the process was efficient, and I’m very impressed with the outcome. Thank you Dr Frimpong and staff for giving me my life and mobility back!

I cannot say enough about the care I have received from Dr. Frimpong. After 30 years in the military, I had done my back no favors. I have undergone two back surgeries, and am pain free for the first time in many years. It will be a slow road to complete recovery ( at 72 years of age) but I will get there. Dr. Frimpong is an excellent surgeon with a superlative bedside manner. He is a straight shooter, i.e., he will tell you the good, the bad and the ugly! Highly recommend!!

Don't make the same mistake I did

I have a serious spine injury from an auto accident for which I was referred to Dr. Frimpong. I was impressed with Dr. Frimpong's attention to detail, his concern for preserving my ability to function in my life, and his apparent knowledge and experience with similar injuries.

Dr. Frimpong is a very caring person, does his job well and I love that he personally calls his patients to check up on them. I highly recommend him!

I was sent to Dr. Frimpong in July by my PCP. He was not able to see me until August 27 and wanted me to have a test. One of the places that does the test requires a credit card kept by them on file with consent to charge the card after the test with no information on how much until they decide to charge the card. Having been a victim of identity theft from another health care office I was told there was another place that does the testing and they would be called for this by Dr. Frimpong's nurse. Approx. 2 weeks later I was called with an appointment scheduled at the place that requires the card be kept on file and when I asked if they had called the other place that does the testing I was told no. I informed the scheduler of the problem and that the nurse advised the other other place would be called the scheduler advise she would call the other place. That was 3 weeks ago and none of my calls to the scheduler have been returned.

So relieved to have the pain gone in my leg. I was Hesitant but luckily I went through with it. Recovery has gone well. I would definitely recommend. Surgery Date May 12 2021
