Spent 3 1/2 hours in the ER tonight, with a child that has been vomiting for 4 days and complaining of abdominal pain, the doctor didn’t even touch my child’s abdomen to do an exam, he listened to her lungs and ordered lab and chest X-ray. When I mentioned a CT abdomen to be sure it’s not her gallbladder the doctor said her lab was normal so it’s not her gallbladder… well I’m here to tell you people can have acute cholecystitis, without elevated labs. Still no abdominal exam done, gave her some anti nausea medicine and fluids. The nurse didn’t check on my child one time to make sure she was doing okay in between us waiting for results. My child laid in a cold, uncomfortable ER bed without a blanket or pillow. I am beyond irritated at the service received today, because prior to today I would of recommended this place, but after today i don’t that we will ever be back, life and death or not I will take my business elsewhere.

3 hours for a chest X-ray and a Advil and a script to be sent out. Pathetic

Do recommend, however something happens between day and night staff. At night I felt cared for and my needs listened to. But here comes the day staff and that all goes out the window. Felt like a nuisance. Medication regimen changes without discussing or even informing me?! Heard CNA complain when I pushed the call button while out on the floor to coworker, prompting me to lie and say it was an accident. Just felt super sad by day and comfortable at night.

The staff are wonderful, all of them! My only complaint are the super uncomfortable beds.

Everything I had foot surgery 2/2/21. From the moment I came in the door everyone was professional and friendly. Everyone ensured I understood each process. From my nurse to the anesthesiologist team. Dr T. Lyman, Rocks 😊 They explained everything so well. I was honored to be the first human to receive an IV from a WSU student. She did Awesome! The day after you cannot even tell I had an IV 😊

In recent times I have had several life threatening incidents in my life and am convinced that we’re it not for the care and expertise of the staff of William Newton hospital I would not be here today. The entire staff is so kind and friendly I can think of no better place to be for medical care. Thank you to all the staff for your loving care. I love you all and hope to see you soon. This place was Awesome best care I have ever had at any hospital thanks to all the nurses surgeon and docs in the ICU for taking great care of me and the kitchen staff for feeding me (Mac n cheese was on point) and all the other staff for making sure I was at comfortable as possible during my stay there you all went above and beyond to make sure I was happy all hours of the day and night even when I was in pain and grouchy you were all so kind and made me feel as if I were at home if I needed or wanted anything u guys were on it thanks again you guys rock I highly recommend this hospital if you want great care and treatment
