I truly like Dr Shirky. Why I am dissatisfied is the lack of communication between my doctor & myself. Yesterday, I did ask if I was receiving the same level of medication that I received during the “study”? Dr. Shirky told me I was getting the same as before. I would like to know if I am progressing or worsening. Yesterday the personal both were good, they introduced themselves which was a big improvement from past visits. I feel most of the time, like I am at McDonald’s drive through - very impersonal, not feeling any concern for my health & well being from Retina & Associates. You probably are wondering why I continue to come to my appointments felling the way I do? I come to the appointments because I do not want to go blind! I realize I have a chronic disease. If untreated, I would most likely go blind. I am wondering? Will anyone even read this? Will any changes be made?

Dr. Belinda Shirkey has been treating me for several years and does an excellent job. I have been getting injections in my right eye and have experienced very little pain ! The last two visits I have not had to get an injection and now don't go back for a check-up for 3 months ! Thank you Dr. Shirkey!

I saw Dr. Shirkey for the first time on July 22 while it's never pleasant to get a shot in the eye she has a very nice and easy way to get the job done without too much pain. I will see her again...

Until recently I never thought much about eye health, except to get a simple appointment to check my vision. Appreciate Dr. Shirkey and her staff in dealing with an unexpected issue with my retina. Very professional and answered every little question I had!

I received absolutely wonderful care. I can't say enough good things about all the staff. From check in to check out everyone was courteous and helpful. Dr. Shirkey explained everything to me. Very wonderful doctor!!!
