He did excellent on my gastric bypass and a year later on hernia repair. Now 18 yrs later with no issues I have another hernia and I'm fully confident in going in to let him repair my hernia. He has always been very personable and caring with me. I feel he saved my life with the gastric bypass. Diabetes was really bad then after the gastric bypass it went away until 3 yrs ago and is only mild now.

Absolutely awesome. I had a Gallbladder Removal Surgery. Absolutely Tops for Surgeon and staff. I had a wonderful experience. Very attentive. I feel they saved my life. Surgery was at K.D.M.C. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Wheeler did my surgery in 2010 and he was wonderful. I had some problems and he and his staff took very good care of me. Having my surgery was the best decision I ever made and I definitely would do it all over again. And I would pick dr wheeler to do it. He is wonderful and the greatest person. I highly recommend him if u are considering this surgery. He won’t let u down.

I had a very simple procedure done that turned into something more complex. Dr Wheeler explained to my family and I (after surgery) of the issues he ran into and let us know how it would affect recovery time and such. He told me he will work with me until I am ready to go back to work and only release me when I feel ready. He is an excellent doctor and I am thoroughly satisfied with the level of care I received.
