List of William Hammons's Reviews
Had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Hammons for 2/22/22. After reading reviews about him, I called up and cancelled my appointment. I rescheduled my appointment with my regular doctor who was Dr. Meade for 2/23/22. I was willing to wait an extra day and go to a good doctor. Why have a doctor like this practice at your practice? Don't anyone read the reviews. I was afraid to go to Dr. Hammons.
Dismissive, outdated, no bedside manner, short, rude, and devoid of any reality finances for lower class workers. Came in for a covid test, and I indeed had it. I asked since I was here if he could refill my normal Rx that I take, and flat out told me no. Office visits costs me $200 and I got nothing out of it besides a positive covid test, which are free everywhere else. Avoid giving this man money.
Worst doctor ever had severe pain and he did absolutely NOTHING for me what a waste of time
In February, I went in with a 100+ fever, cough, headache, body aches, ear ache (etc.) Dr. Hammons was unprofessional, disrespectful, and seemed disengaged. He performed no physical assessment (i.e. assess ears, throat, lungs). Dr. Hammons provided a flu test but no strep test. The flu test came back "negative." He told me I either had a common cold or meningitis (?!). Dr. Hammons provided me no medication to address my symptoms. His only recommendation was to go to the ER if my fever or neck pain got worse. The next day, I went for a second opinion at the Little Clinic. I was tested positive for type B flu. After doing a physical assessment, the PA diagnosed me with a double ear infection AND early signs of pneumonia. Because I went for a second opinion the next day, the PA was able to prescribe me theraflu and decongestant. For your safety - please think twice before scheduling an appointment with Dr. Hammons.
He has been a most wonderful physician these past ten years, competent, knowledgeable, and thorough. I have never trusted a doctor more.
Very knowledgeable - takes the time to answer questions - very caring - have never had a bad office visit with him (can't understand the review that calls him rude and dismissive - I have NEVER had such an experience)
Dr. William Hammons is a horrible primary care physician. He is rude, dismissive and actually has no intent in managing your primary care. He will pawn you off on specialists at his first chance, and mysteriously not follow thru on the results. Do you know what they call the guy who graduated at the bottom of his class in medical school? “Doctor.” Do not trust your care, or the care of a loved one to this man.
Dr are always polite and understanding. Great care and service. Thank u
He's worse Doctor
I wouldn't recommend this doctor to a dying cockroach. I go in a see this joke of a doctor for a cold I've had for a month. He refuses to give me any meds what so ever he literally disregards how I'm feeling. I beg him for a z pack which he refuses. I leave wait 4 days and go to urgent care who gives me a breathing treatment and a z pack and they said I have a bad case of bronchitis. Thanks Hammons for waisting my money and not doing your job! And I felt better the next day! Horrible doctor!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
