Great experience! Caring staff! Dr. Heltsley is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to give details about what he was going to do in surgery. He answered every question thoroughly and I felt at ease knowing he was going to do my surgery for my meniscus tear. My follow-up appointments were great. I felt very well taken care of throughout the entire process!I absolutely recommend Dr. Heltsley!

Dr heltsley did a total hip replacement surgery on March 15, 2022. It has been six weeks and i was released yesterday. Everything went well with no issues. Would recommend dr heltsley for anyone needing hip replacement.

Once again, I would like to take this opportunity, to thank Dr. J. Heltsley for the wonderful care when he replaced my hip . Thank you Dr. Heltsley for giving me the all my options and when I said I want my hip replacement, I didn’t have to wait but 3 weeks to get it done. . I would also like to say thanks for. Dr. Ripp and all of the support staff. Everyone has treated me with care and kindness. I look forward to being able to extend my walks. I am thrilled with his work. Thank you, Thank you.

Wonderful Dr. Dr. Was kind, understanding, wise , caring , everything that we want and need in a Dr. . When he replaced my hip, he have me my life back. No more pain, no more trouble with my new hip. I can’t thank Dr. Heltsley enough for his great work. He is amazing. Thank you.

Dr. Heltsey, his PA Mr. King, and the rest of the staff at WKONA are absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend him and his team to anyone needing orthopedic care. I cannot express how pleased I am with the experince that I had post surgery. The staff are knowledgeable, listen, and provide comprehensive information about care before, during, and after procedures. I would also like to mention Ms. Jesse, who is a WKONA nurse; she is so kind and helpful. With the two surgerys and complications I have had thus far, I can certainly say one thing has remained constant, and that is the quality health-care provided by the workers at WKONA. I underwent a total knee replacement and within a couple of weeks, an opposite ACL & MCL tears from a fall that also required surgery. Two surgeries and lots of rehab have taken place in the last 3 months, but I know I am in great hands with Dr. Heltsey and the staff. He repaired both knees, and I am on the path to recovery doing well.Thank you, workers of WKONA, for all you do. 😊

He did my shoulder surgery and it went well. The office staff and his physicians assistant is very knowledgeable and does quality work. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Heltsley is truely the best orthopedic surgeon this side of heaven!!! He is so good at repairing an injury or total replacement of the knee or shoulder!!! I had torn my tendons away from my shoulder rotator cuff and had some torn tendons from a bad fall plus arthritis in my shoulder that he removed and repaired my tendons. I had no pain and recovered above average!! He is the best, nicest, very friendly and personalable but professional doctor you will ever meet!! I highly recommend Dr Heltsley to anyone!! HE IS BY FAR THE BEST AND KINDEST ONE AROUND!!! Just had my surgery on October 22, 2021. I regret having to be released as I will miss his sweet hugs and understanding sweet spirit!! Thank you Dr Heltsley for doing a great work on my shoulder and for being so kind!!Maggie Evans
