As a nurse practitioner who has worked in various settings, inpatient and outpatient, I have witnessed the care that those who struggle with substance use disorder and alcohol use disorder have received, the stigma, and the judgement that is passed on them. Working at BrightView, the mission and the mindset is to change that! It is a blessing to work with an organization who thrives to make a change in not only the communities but across the country. An organization that ensures that their mission is achieved by providing care to those who struggle with substance use disorder and alcohol use disorder without judgement, and to care for them as individuals to ensure their success in recovery. Their moto is "to meet people where they are" every day, and I think that speaks volumes as to what the company stands for in regards to caring for people as individuals overcoming their pasts and on a journey for their future.-Nurse Practitioner, BrightView Health
