Good hospital just really slow

I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH..IF YOU HAVE A LOVED ONE. PLEASE DO NOT LET THEM GO TO CORBIN CONTINUED CARE. My dad went here right out of lex hospital. hes not married so it fell on me to sign papers. up until 5 days before he got out I had to even sign for xrays. then 5 days later trach is out and they sent him home with a gf. now he can not turn over so how is 1 person gonna keep him turned every hour and clean up bowel movements? they cant. the last person I spoke with was sue and she was to get him into a nursing home. not 1 person contacted me to tell me any of this. 5hey dropped the ball..I wouldnt RECOMEND sending anyone you love to this place. Everyone at this facility dropped the ball when it comes to my dad. sad but true. now they refuse to give me my dads records without him having a id or drivers license. hes basically a vegetable after 5 days of being released from corbin. I even have guardianship (financial and medical) signed by a judge and thats not good enough for this place. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH.IF YOU HAVE LOVED ONES...DO NOT SEND THEM TO CORBIN CONTINUED CARE!!!!

The staff here are a great bunch to work with and it such a pleasure to take care of our patients and see them improve drastically; sometimes starting out on a vent and improve enough to walk out of here! Since our patients do end up staying with us for a longer time than a regular hospital, our patients leave here as friends rather than just patients. I highly recommend this place.

We transferred my dad from UK and they have been amazing working with him. They have w very carrying staff. I highly recommend the Continued Care hospital.
