I love Dr Holmes he done miracles with my son he is a very pleasant and sincere doctor
Great doctor, explained everything well and extremely patient.
Very understanding and helpful. Very down to earth and knowledgeable.
Dr. Holmes is smart, knowledgable, and engaged with his patients. Wait has always been less that 15 min. and the staff tries really hard in an incredibly complex medical system to get appointments an rx right.
Best Endocrinologist I've ever had. I'm almost 70 yrs so I've had my share. He treats the patient and not just the lab test results. As a diabetic with thyroid issues, I appreciate that.
A++ experiences, Yes, the policy is cash or check for a copay and it’s a pain to remember that. Nevertheless the policy is told to everyone before coming. So don’t forget and you will be fine. Sad $$$ has to brought into care but he wouldn’t be in business if he’s not paid. I’m sure he just got burnt one too many times with credit cards or statement Billings. As for the care - top notch. He’s about the only doctor left that will listen before diagnosing.
Of all the years that I’ve gone to him, he has never made me feel rushed or not to take the time to answer all my questions. Upon my first visit, I was an extremely sick person and I do believe he, with God’s help, gave life back to me. Am I in perfect health? No, but I do believe had it not been for his diligent searching for my problem, that I would not be here today. If he moved to Michigan, I’d still follow him as my doctor. I have never felt like just a number, but was a human being that he cared about my health. His staff is just as wonderful, too!!
If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I Took my dad to see dr. Yancey holmes yesterday morning at their office in the hospital. Signed him in and asked if he could be billed for his copay. The lady wearing a tye dye shirt and dark hair behind the counter told me she would have to check his insurance cards. I filled out all the paperwork for the office went back up to the desk and I was told that his copay was $45. I asked once again if I could have it billed. I got told in a rude manner by this girl that it was office policy. (Okay I get that). I told her I had to reschedule then because he doesn’t have the $45 as per their sign in the office. Apparently that wasn’t good enough so she got the office manager who is really tall and had blonde hair with a white lab coat on. She came in and screamed at me about how it’s office policy and that it was discussed on the phone prior. She demanded to know who she talked to make the appointment and said “didn’t anyone understand that?” I told her I’m not the one who talked to you so I didn’t know and I’m not involved. She said she would waive the fee but next he better bring the money. Waited An HOUR for him to be called back just to get the doctor himself who was very rude and said he didn’t know why we were there and theres nothing he can do. Needless to say they aren’t getting their $45 from us.

Dr. Holmes started out as a pretty good endo, but he was unable to treat hypothyroidism correctly. He gave two sided information, and didn't follow through on calling in prescriptions very well. The office is all about MONEY, which wasn't a problem as long as I can get the treatment I wanted, but that wasn't even an option. Save your money if you think he can help you lose weight with hypothyroidism, because they are very unaccomodating, and really don't care about their patients from my expe

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
