I am so glad to have Dr Maddux as a neurologist for my husband Igor with Parkinson disease. Dr Maddux is very attentive and always specific to details. Very patient and very caring. Thank you very much Dr Maddux!

I really can't really say enough for Dr. Maddux. He listens very carefully to what I tell him and then records it in his computer so he knows how I was in the in the past and then he knows what to do in the future. He is highly skilled and his knowledge of parkinsons disease puts him among one of the best in the country. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have a lot of experience with Dr. Maddux. My father has Parkinson's. I took him to many appointments. Dr. Maddux was pleasant and patient, though my dad is nearly deaf and very hard to communicate with. Dr. Maddux is positive and realistic. He says what he observes, predicts, and recommends. He takes plenty of time to answer questions. My dad won't take the med Dr. Maddux prescribed as directed, but the doctor has never taken an attitude about this. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Maddox is a great doctor, he told Mary to please give me an appointment for the next 3 months of my treatment. After he left she told me that she had no appointment for me in those three months if so she would call I don't know what to do because I cannot stop my treatment. I am very worried about my treatment being stopped. I have never ever been treated like this at River Hills everyone was always been so professional she treated me like it was my fault that I was injured I need Dr Maddox to get her to give me an appointment thank you.

Dr. Maddux has no bedside manner and no customer service skills. He is academically arrogant and doesn't know how to convert complex language into simplistic terms for his patients. I accompanied my father on a routine Parkinson's visit where Dr. Maddux yelled at him during what we thought was a two-way discussion. His exact words were, "Wait! Don't talk to me while I'm typing!" He berated my father and shamed him for not completely answering a question he had asked. I DO NOT recommend this doctor -- especially for families who are dealing with such a complex disease and are curious for physician guidance.

Dr Maddux has always spent the time needed at our appointments. He is understanding, knowledgeable, & caring. When not in town, his Nurse, Mary goes out of her way to help. Thanks Mary & Dr Maddux
